About this property

Quiet & Walkable Apartment: Stampede, BMO, Nightlife, Eats & Much More!

  • Welcome to your retro-chic hideaway in the heart of Ramsay, tucked into the historic 1906 Hardware Block — once a corner grocery, then a hardware shop, now a charming boutique apartment building full of character. Nestled on a quiet, tree-lined residential street, you’ll feel like you’ve escaped the city, even though Inglewood and downtown are just a short stroll or drive away.

    The space
This fully private 1-bedroom suite feels like a cozy time capsule: bold red accents, warm wood-slat walls, vinyl-record flair, and a playful vintage-meets-modern vibe throughout. It’s stylish, comfortable, and instantly welcoming — the kind of place you’ll enjoy unwinding in, whether you’re settling in for a movie night, sipping morning coffee, or getting a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring all our beautiful city has to offer.

The apartment has in-suite laundry, high-speed internet, air conditioning for hot summer days, and is stocked with all the basics you need for a relaxing, stress-free stay. In addition to the comfortable queen bed in the bedroom, the living room also features a sofa that converts into a queen size bed.

Access is easy — there are just three steps up from street level to the private entrance. It’s suitable for guests with mild mobility limitations who are comfortable navigating a few steps.

Exploring couldn’t be easier from here. In under 15 minutes on foot you can reach:
    • Scotsman’s Hill and its legendary skyline views
    • The Stampede Grounds & Saddledome
    • Elbow River pathways
    • The lush Reader Rock Garden
    • Craft breweries like Cold Garden & Ol’ Beautiful
    • The bustling Crossroads Market
    • Inglewood favourites like Rouge Bakery, Charbar, The Nash, Sidewalk Citizen, and Spolumbo’s
    • Live music at Ironwood or Festival Hall, plus record stores and boutiques

You’re also perfectly placed for Calgary’s biggest attractions:
    • Downtown Calgary — 5 minutes by car or a 20–25 min walk
    • Calgary Zoo — 7 minutes by car or a 25–30 min walk
    • TELUS Spark — 8 minutes by car
    • Calgary Tower — 8–10 minutes by car
    • Glenbow Museum / Arts Commons — 8 minutes by car
    • Calgary Stampede — a 10-minute walk
    • Canmore — ~1 hour by car
    • Banff — ~1 hour 20 minutes by car
    • Kananaskis — ~1 hour 10 minutes by car
    • YYC Airport — ~20 minutes by car

Ramsay is one of Calgary’s most character-filled neighbourhoods — historic, artsy, and walkable, with leafy streets and a friendly community vibe. It’s peaceful and residential, yet incredibly central. No high-rise feel, no downtown noise, just the charm of heritage homes and mature trees right outside your door.

You’ll enjoy easy self check-in, a safe and welcoming area, great amenities, and quick access to everywhere you want to be.

Whether you’re here for adventure, work, a romantic weekend, or to explore Calgary’s creative side, this space gives you the perfect home base with personality.

We’d truly love to host you — come enjoy Ramsay like a local!

    Guest access
Guests will have private access to the ENTIRE apartment (private kitchen, private bedroom, private dining room, private living room). There is a private entrance off the street - no shared spaces at all!

There is ample free street parking located right outside the building which is on a quiet residential street.

    Other things to note
The suite is located in a historic, character filled building. It's renovated, clean, stylish and inviting- but at the end of the day the original structure was built in 1906 so expect some quirks like creaky floors here and there that add to the building's ambience.
