The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It's not everyday you get to use an old wood fire oven, but we had blast. Richard was an excellent host! « Fantastic little cottage; it looked even better than the pictures. We loved the porch and rocking chairs and spent a fair amount of time just enjoying the view when we weren’t out and about. It was clean and didn’t lack anything. The couch isn’t the most comfortable, but we didn’t do much sitting around inside so it wasn’t an issue. The beds could definitely use more pillows, but otherwise it was very comfy. There were only two of us so the cottage felt plenty spacious. This was the perfect spot...

« This is as close to the water as you can get. It actually hangs over the waters edge. It is a cottage so don’t expect pristine, but quaint.Felt secluded, lots of wild life to hear at night. Kitchen fridge is small but adequate, bring drinking water and a good book and you’ll be all set. »

« I missed the information stating bring own sheets and towels. When I spoke to owner day of arrival, he reminded me of this. I told him I missed this, and told him we had flown from CO. He suggested that I stop and buy these items and did reimburse me for costs. I hope that he has changed this policy as people who travel from away will not choose this otherwise great cabin on Lake Willoughby. »

« 10/10, This place is so cute and cozy. I came for a wedding, and not only is it so aesthetic with everything perfectly curated, it has everything you need during your stay. Blankets and bedding were great quality to keep you warm and comfortable—especially important in Dec when I came—and the bonus fireplace and sauna made this short wedding trip also a little self care trip for myself.
