I really wanted to love this property because the location is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We stayed here from June 16–23 with a group of seven. During our stay, our section of the property experienced repeated power outages while other areas of the hotel still had electricity. We also went two nights without hot water. We found insects in our room during our stay. I understand that this is a tropical destination and seeing an occasional bug is expected, but this seemed beyond what I anticipated for a property advertised as a resort. There was also a strong musty/sewage-like odor coming from the laundry area throughout our stay. Another frustration was the lack of basic linens. With seven people staying in our villa, we were only provided with two washcloths for the entire stay. The towels provided were microfiber-style towels rather than the standard bath towels we expected for a resort. Customer service was another disappointment. While I did bring some concerns to the staff, I often felt like asking for assistance was an inconvenience. Because of those interactions, I didn’t feel comfortable continuing to report every issue as it came up. I will say the location is convenient and the beach nearby is beautiful, which was the highlight of our trip. However, for the amount we paid ($2,400), I expected a much better-maintained property and a higher level of service. I hope management addresses these issues because the property has potential.

experience so many problems at this place one that the light fixtures weren’t working second there was mold on the ceiling. We removed several times. Staff and waiters were not friendly. They would say good morning to some guest and not to others I believe because we had several issues. They were less likely to speak with us. We’re not friendly. My husband had an accident on the property and I felt like it was brushed over and not taking care of. There’s no landline. They rely on Wi-Fi which falls so leaving us without communication. Some of the staff was trying to mitigate some of the wrongdoings they gave us a letter. They gave us a complementary wine. All in all I would never stay here and I think it’s actually dangerous. Beware.
