"You would think that a hotel of this caliber would be incredible in every way. Sadly, this is not true. The location, setting and architecture are stunning and on point. However, the decor (at least in the rooms vs villas) is very old school and without modern enhancements. I didn't love or appreciate this aspect of the hotel. "They charged me twice for the room and still have not refunded me. They promised we would receive a refund and now we are back almost a week and still no refund. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. This is not the right way to do business. A/C didn't work properly, soap from previous guest in the soap dish in our bathroom."

"This hotel was lovely, located 10 minutes walk from the town centre so very easy for accessing everything. There is a bit of an uphill walk there but it was fine for us. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast, coffee, juice, breads and pastries it set us up well for the day ahead. We would highly recommend this hotel for exploring La Maddalena!"

"The house is beautiful and was comfortable for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we might have needed. The real stars of this home are the patio areas and the view! Absolutely could not be better! While the listing indicates that the home has three bedrooms, be aware that the third bedroom is accessed from an outside door (that is locked securely). The entrance has a slope and a number of stairs, so that is something to consider if there is anyone with mobility concerns. My only other comment is that the main bedroom’s bed was a bit firm - but that is strictly a personal preference. Overall, if you are looking for a comfortable place - very separate from the town area (you will need transportation), this is an excellent choice! "
