Staff and place was great. Location was great too. Only complaint is that they did not honor what we paid for. We paid for city view and got an alley view.

A great location, decent, very spacious rooms and brilliant, helpful staff.
I had a great time at this hotel, it represents an excellent value for money. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is perfect, many landmarks are at walking distance and there are a lot of shops around. The staff was amazing, specially Nadine!
Thank you Hathor House. It was beautiful stay we even rebooked the hotel twice when we returned to Cairo.
The staff is very very nice. The rooms are beautiful. I recommend.
We had a great stay at Hathor House! The location is very central, rooms are big and equipped with everything we needed, the staff are super friendly and helpful. We were not bothered by the noise outside, and we enjoyed the more authentic experience of staying in an old historic building. I would happily stay here again.
Enjoyed our stay at Hathor house. Conveniently located downtown in nice neighborhood. Room was big and clean, and comes with nice breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and fairly spacious but not fancy. Breakfast was provided fresh when requested and consisted of eggs, cheese, buns, banana and freshly sliced tomatoes/cucumbers. All in all good value accommodations .
All is new and very clean, the staff is marvellous, I strongly recommend it. The breakfast is served at the time you need directly in the room, we had good continental breakfast but is possible to have also Egyptian breakfast.
The only thing they can improve is to put a more visible sign on the building, because the hotel is at the second floor of a building.
Amazing. Perfect location. Nice clean room with high ceiling of 20'. Everything works perfect. Wonderful hosts. Breakfast may be a little more variety. But value for money 100%
Great value for money right in the heart of Old Cairo city. Vintage lift to the second floor . Building is mainly deserted and there is no retail inside . Rooms were of a decent size and the open bathroom ( no separate enclosed shower cubicle ) was workable . Breakfast was basic . Staff were really helpful and were kind enough to allow a generous late check out .
The hotel is located a good location regarding a decent price for it. My main recommendation is that they add a safe within the rooms to save valuables and improve exterior presentation as it does bring a negative first expression to a very nice interior and managed rooms. The other recomendation is that to bath is very uncomfortable as the water spills all over the place.
Staff was super nice and helpful I recommend that place to everyone.

Although we had a little trouble locating the entrance at night as the taxi driver dropped us over the road, as soon so we were greeted by Abahor, we were very impressed at how helpful he was in every way possible! The facilities were nice and bed amazingly comfortable. Yes it is not 5 star hotel but the hotel staff are definitely 11 out of 10!! We enjoyed the breakfast and the old charm of the building. Could not have asked for a better start to our time in Egypt.
The hospitality was unmatched! Every single staff member took care of me while I was there. They even made sure that I had a ride from and to the airport. My plane got delayed by a couple of hours and at 2am they made sure I got to the hotel safely. Even the smallest of details they cared about because they wanted to make sure my stay was perfect, and it was. They treat you like family. The breakfast was amazing, and everything was clean. 10/10
