"Excellent apartment with plenty of room. Modern. Big bathroom. Nice little semi private outdoor patio. Very nice common areas in 2 places; ground floor and 2nd level. Free washer and dryer. Claudia was a fantastic host. Well stocked kitchen ( just neexed a fish drainer and some kitchen towels ). When we return to the Algarve, we will stay at Cardeal for our base! Cannot say enough good things about Cardeal."

"Property was a brilliant size for 2 of us. The building was a bit run down and pool hadnt been cleaned for a while, the key to the door was temperamental and took some getting used. Although despite all these things i would definately stay here again apartment had everything you could need and was close to aome nice places. Was only about 10-15 mins walk to the strip when you found the fastest way. Host was very good with check in details as we arrived at the aparment for check in quite late"

"Stayed as a solo traveler, the property whatsapped me the information on how to check in. The room was clean and perfect size for me. The facilities were great I enjoyed sitting by the pool. The location was a little bit away from the main town but was reachable by taxi in 10 mins. I felt safe as it was gated. . "

"Great location. Within walking distance to several restaurants, cafes, bakery, the Municipal Market and the beach. The train station was about a 2 minute walk making travel within the Algarve quick and easy. Our host was quick to reply to any questions or concerns we had. She met us upon arrival and walked us through the condo and gave us a tour of the facility. It was a lovely place and we would recommend it to anybody. We hope to return someday."

It was just a short walk to the lovely marina where there are several restaurants to choose from. "Well appointed apartment but it needed some maintenance. The furniture was tired and worn. The grounds/pool were lovely. The walkways need work. Many loose tiles and trip hazards. Not a location for people with mobility issues. A ten minute walk to town center with alot of stairs. No convenient stores nearby."

"A clean spacious apartment with everything that you need. Great location and having Aldi a short walk away was perfect to stock up each day on supplies. Everywhere is in within walking distance. Tracey met us on arrival despite us being late arriving and was great in showing us around the apartment. She was always on hand if we needed anything but we didn't. "Nelson and Paula are the most perfect hosts, happy to help but also show respect and privacy. Accommodation is modern, clean and everything one or two people would require. Easy 15 min Uber from Faro Airport. 15 min walk to train station and cheap tickets to Tavira (and Tavira Island with amazing beach)and Fuseta, both a must see. 20 mins brisk walk to front in Olhao. Bus service available but i like to walk. Ferry to one of the islands from Olheo also not to be missed. Olhao is a beautiful...

"Very spacious apartment, we all enjoyed ourselves but urgently needs new chairs on the balcony we had to use the kitchen chairs as they were unstable and one broke as I was sat on it. Air conditioning not working in one of the bedrooms. Most of the dishes need replacing as chipped."

"The property was clean and neat when we arrived. The outside areas are very well maintained. Maria the owner was always very helpful and courteous. The problems we had were with the VRBO app. There was no way I could find to do an attachment to be sent to the owner."

When challenging this with the breakfast staff they continually refused to let us speak to reception and they claimed not to understand English or acknowledge the shown booking from Expedia and the card machine was continually shoved under our noses aggressively. "We wanted to stay outside of the main tourist area of Albuferia and Ferreiras was perfect offering easy walking and good public transport. The apartment was beyond expectations, being larger with good natural light and air. Lovely outlooks with gardens at the entry door, and veranda accessable from patio doors both bedroom and lounge areas, looking out to the swimming pool, ideal for families with children. Excellent WIFI signal and amazing TV options. Furniture and equipment in the apartment...
