Set in beautiful parkland, the hotel perfectly blends historic charm with modern luxury, creating an atmosphere that feels both elegant and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Every member of staff went out of their way to make me feel looked after, without ever being intrusive. Dinner in the restaurant was a real highlight. The menu was beautifully curated, showcasing seasonal ingredients and creative flair. Each course was expertly presented and full of flavour—clearly the work of a talented kitchen. The ambience in the dining room added to the experience, striking just the right balance between relaxed and refined. Breakfast the following morning was equally impressive. There was a generous selection to choose from, with both continental options and perfectly cooked hot dishes. Everything was fresh, high quality, and served with the same attentive care we experienced the night before. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with lovely views of the surrounding grounds—making it very easy to unwind and enjoy the peaceful setting. "

"Fabulous hotel & I was pleasantly surprised on all counts. Great location for what we needed, stayed 3 nights while searching for a flat for my daughter who is relocating. From the super helpful ladies on the hotel reception to the top floor restaurant and bar for breakfast and dinner, again fantastic service & very friendly staff. Our room was lovely, very clean, all amenities you need, great size & view overlooking the airport. Perfect stay! Highly recommended… We’ll definitely be back when visiting the area again. Thanks "

"Continental breakfast was OK - not many gluten free options"

"Firstly, the parking is very secure and free. The room was clean, but the coffee machine made lukewarm drinks and the base of the taps need a deep clean. The double bed was the smallest I've ever seen unless I wanted to pay hundreds more. Breakfast wasn't good, the scrambled egg was smothered in butter and salt, the bacon was dry and overcooked and the toast was cold and dry, dirty napkin and customers were asking for things like baked beans, coffeess etc and they were getting these. The young lad working on the bar was great, really polite and chatty. The woman on the bar took it upon herself to try my cocktail before serving it to me! So it really was a bit hit and miss. I'd have preferred Premier Inn to be honest. "

"Room was amazing! Great size, very comfortable bed and being at the back of the hotel meant it was quiet! Shower was excellent Breakfast was freshly cooked and superb! Nothing to fault "

"Good location, right in the centre of town but very hot no air conditioning and their rooms are quite small in need of some attention. They wanted to charge us 10 pounds for a late . checkout. The rooms don't look anything like they do in the pictures. They must've been taken about 10 years ago when it was new. all the stuff was very nice and helpful. That was the best part. Very noisy location so be aware."
