« Leon has hosted us 3 times now and each time has been excellent! We love this property and the amenities. We’ve had the pleasure of staying in 3 different rental options on this property and each one has been great. It’s clean, comfortable, convenient to restaurants and groceries. « We had a softball tournament in Brenham and decided to make a weekend out of it with the family and our Frenchie. Place was small but perfect, communication was outstanding. There were a few crumbs on the kitchen table but otherwise very clean. I would stay here again. »

« Beautiful house, very clean, easy access to the lake. Love to see the cardinal birds and the deer around. Host very collaborative and kind. »

« The property is pretty private and about 5 mins from the water and 5 mins from a Dollar General. The pool wasn’t very clean but the property and house were fine. The gas grill in the pictures is no longer there - it’s a smaller charcoal pit. And the pool net in the same picture is no longer there. »

« We are only 2 hours away from Rockin Star, but this was just far enough to get out of the city & enjoy the quiet & slower pace of the hill country. We enjoyed the pool each evening & it was very relaxing. Darrell Sr & Jr were super friendly & helpful with the ins & outs of the property, and Darrell Sr showed us around the property. We were just there for a weekend getaway, but it’s a great place for a family reunion or wedding. »

« My wife and I like to stay out away from Bryan/College Station when attending TAMU football games to avoid the traffic and crowds. The Cottage is in a nice location in the country. Great views f4om the front porch. Super clean and a really comfortable bed. Also, the owners are a pleasure to deal with. We will be back next season. »
