Couldn’t fault the property or the staff. The amenities are as best as you could expect in such a small island. Manager was very helpful and chatty I would recommend the Colonsay Hotel for shorts stays , not because there is anything wrong with it , the staff , ir the island but it is a small island and there is only so much you can do. Beaches are stunning and so is the walk across The Strand to the Isle of Oransay

We are not golfers, but found this hotel an excellent, though expensive, place to stay. It had lots of amenities to appeal to non golfers and was in an excellent location with very helpful staff. A car is essential to stay here. The breakfast was very good, as I am sure was the dinner. However we chose not to have dinner as there didn't appear to be much plain food on the menu. Although it may have been possible to ask for this, we felt the price being asked reflected the complexity of the menu, and plain food would not have been value for money.

Fantastic location for a 3 night stay to tour Islay and Jura. Place was well equipped, clean and well maintained. I’d go back in a heartbeat
