Clean rooms great facilities wonderful breakfast and food in general. Massages were amazing the lady is brilliant ! The pools are great too. Definitely recommend the hotel ⭐️
Excellent staff, very helpful and kind.
Breakfast was great everyday. The spa was great, sauna was amazing
I was there on my birthday, they took the time to deliver chocolate to my room and a glass of champagne at dinner. I had a Danube river view balcony room.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Room and everything was fine, clean, only thing that surprised me was when they charge me 17euro for one night on parking lot, I think that after paying lot of money for room parking should be free
That’s my opinion,thanks
We had a wonderful stay at Danubius Hotel Helia in Budapest with my family last week. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with friendly and helpful staff who made our stay enjoyable.
We loved the relaxing atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and great facilities. It was also a convenient place to stay while exploring Budapest. Overall, we had a great family experience and would definitely consider staying here again.
Highly recommended for families visiting Budapest!
I like the hotel, and its pool and breakfast are decent with reasonable prices. The only let down (which isnt really Hotel's fault, it's more Budapest in general) is the buses dont accept card payment yet and so the easiest public transport to the hotel isnt really usable for most tourists. (Bus 15)
It will be helpful if the hotel notice guests on this or lobby government for this change. I thoroughly enjoyed a completely cash-free city break in Budapest, and hopefully next time we visited the hotel the bus payment system would have changed.
Loved this hotel. Rooms were great - decent size and incredibly clean (premium balcony with river view). Swimming pools were fantastic - there different pools at different temperatures. Lovely lobby with comfortable seats and a nice outdoor seating area. Breakfast was reliable - hot cooked items (bacon, sausage, egg, beans, etc), cold meats and cheese, breads and pastries and more. We had travel cards for getting around - bus stop outside by the Prima store (also helpful to have nearby) and a 10 minute walk to the metro m3 line.
Eight nights in Longstay Apartment. Room was great - spacious and quiet! Kitchen had everything you could need including soap, dishwasher pods and salt/pepper (maybe a glass pan to use in the oven would be the one thing to add), 1.5 bathrooms, very comfortable bed, washer/dryer combo (with detergent pods provided), nice sitting area, excellent shower and separate bathtub, robes/slippers, soap, shampoo (no conditioner) and a lovely balcony overlooking the Danube. We ate on the balcony several nights (cooked or got pizza from Angel Pizza nearby). We always looked forward to the excellent choice at breakfast (especially the scrambled eggs - very good!). The jacuzzi and spa area were well maintained and we spent time there every day. As stated in other reviews location is outside the main tourist zone - so just be aware of that. There is a Prima grocery across the street, bus 75 and 15 stop right by the hotel and metro 3 is a 5-6 min walk (or one stop on bus 75 or 79) to get you anywhere you need to go. Staff was great!
Nice modern hotel with spa facilities. Comfortable room in a central location with the benefits of the Spa complext after a workday. Friendly staff and not overpriced.
Lovely hotel which is about 10mins walk away from the metro (very easy to find), and then about 10mins from the centre.
As other reviews have said, the breakfast is very good and cannot fault it.
I had booked the hotel for the spa pools but this was not quite how I imagined them. There are 3 all in the same space. One is about 17-20meters so could have a good swim in but the other 2 are just chilling in.
Enjoyed the sauna and steam room.
Ask the spa receptionist to give you key and towels, and like all pools there, you need to have a swim cap if you are actually swimming.
Liked the fact it was not in a busy part of the city. There is a supermarket across the road. Good bus services nearby.
