The cottage is a separate dwelling from the main farm house with trees and bushes in between the buildings. It's private but not completely secluded.

We are surrounded by fields and bushland where wildlife resides. You will wake up to bird song and might hear a possum on the roof during the night.
The occasional spider in the cottage is considered normal. On bushwalks, you might encounter lizards and snakes; more so in Spring and Summer. Guests accept this and take responsibility for their safety.

ABOUT WI-FI
This is a rural property and internet speed is not within our control. It can sometimes be slow.

We will either meet you at check-in or say hello during your stay. We like to give guests their privacy, but happy to chat if you have any questions.

INTERACTIONS WITH ANIMALS AT THE FARM
We hope to welcome you to our lifestyle farm and small-scale primary production property. Once per stay, we offer animal feeding to guests. This happens between 5pm and 6.30pm, depending on the time of the year. As we are parents, farmers and employed workers, we appreciate when this can be pre-arranged. It includes meeting and feeding our horses Tully and Sam as well as feeding the chickens. The pigs live near the dam and are also fed at around that time. Guests are welcome to watch. Right next to the pigs is the dam where the turtles will sometimes come up for a treat.

We ask that guests do not hand feed any farm animals when we are not around. This is for safety reasons and also because one of our horses has dietary requirements.

Excellent location
The cottage was clean tody and located in a beautiful location. My kids enjoyed feeding the animals and the hosts left a lovely bottle of red and farm fresh eggs. I would recommend this to families wanting a tSte of farm life as a base to explore the region.

Comfortable Farm Retreat
Delighted by our warm welcome on arrival and our hosts thoughtful attention to making our stay so comfortable. We were greeted with a fridge filled with essentials - from chilled wine, milk, fresh eggs and a delicious watermelon. Our fur kids settled straight in to the secure, fully fenced garden and pet room. The designated bush walking track and off leash area enabled us to safely explore and enjoy our beautiful surroundings.

Bucca Hideaway
Our stay was far too short. Lovely hosts who, to my 9 year granddaughters delight, allowed her to help feed & brush the horses & showed her the other animals on the farm. The home was very neat & tidy with lovely comfortable beds. There were books, games, Netflix & a game console to play. The pantry had all the necessities,& it was a lovely surprise to find a bottle of red, fresh eggs & milk. It was wonderful to sit on the porch overlooking green paddocks & enjoy the peace & quiet.

Lovely farmstay
Owners were very welcoming with a bottle of wine and dog treats for us when we arrived. Cottage is lovely and clean in an idyllic location with rolling green hills and rainforest. The house was fully equipped with everything you need for a week long stay including milk and farm fresh eggs provided. The room configuration with bunk bedroom adjoining the two double bedrooms is better suited for families with young children as the only way to enter the bunk bedroom is through one of the other bedrooms. The owners house is directly behind the cottage but they allowed us our privacy. The only downside was the internet was very slow and Netflix failed a few times while we were watching movies. Not sure if that can be fixed or if it is just a rural Australian problem. We didn't have time to watch many movies so not a huge issue for us. The nearby beach, Moone Beach, is only ten minutes away and is dog friendly and great for kayaking in the lagoon when the tide is high.
