Very close to town- about 7 minutes, but still very very private! You couldn’t see any other homes from the cabin, only a driveway. Very quiet and peaceful! It is close to breweries, bakeries and restaurants and it allowed us to gather with family nearby, and being pet friendly, allowed us to care for our aged dogs who travel with us. The host is quite responsive and kind. I will say that the road up may be daunting depending on Mother Nature, it is well maintained but torrential rains happen, so great feet, or 4 WD are helpful. ##### Vicki M. The cabin is newly constructed and as beautiful (and clean!) as the photos. It had everything we needed, plus thoughtful extras like K-cups and microwave popcorn. Location was perfect. It's far enough from town to feel secluded, yet only six minutes from Main Street in Bryson City and 20 minutes from rafting outfitters on the Nantahala River. We enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub, rocking on the porch in the mountain mornings, and playing family board games on the large dining table. (We brought our own games, but there's a full cabinet to choose from!) Our host was incredibly accommodating when we had some last-minute changes, too. Could not have asked for a better place for our Smoky Mountains getaway! ##### Cat K.
