We chose this place based on the views and it didn’t disappoint. Wonderful sunrise and sunset and so peaceful. The kids enjoyed the basement and game room… plenty of things to do to keep everyone entertained and off devices.Only thing I would share with potential renters that I would have liked to understand better is the road conditions. Many reviews about it being a steep access road with AWD/4WD recommended - what I didn’t understand was that the majority of the last half would be gravel on a winding incline (it’s probably written somewhere and I missed it). While my husband and I were fine with our Silverado and suburban, another guest had a Honda accord and it was difficult for them. We ended up just using both our large vehicles to transport the entire family to attractions. While they could have used the accord if necessary, there was some level of discomfort/concern with ascending to the property. If you’re an experienced mountain driver you should have no issue. All that to say that the view is worth the 30 minute drive from 74.The host was extremely responsive and helpful. All in all it was a great stay that I’m sure everyone will be talking about for the rest of the year. ##### Carolyne J. We had retired grandparents, grandkids from 5-13, and their parents. It was perfect for our party of 9 and we all had adequate space. We enjoyed the game room, fire pit, and hot tub. We also made good use of the full washer and dryer ;) The view was unparalleled and the sunrise/sunsets were a highlight of every day. The road to the cabin is long and steep. If we come again, we will have 4-wheel drive on all vehicles, but we did make it up and down (in cool, dry weather--good conditions) in our Honda Odyssey. I would recommend this place highly! Once you get your groceries in town and make the trek up the mountain, you really have no reason to leave unless you want to! ##### Meredith G. The views changed everyday from the balcony overlooking the mountains.
