SW Brussels Suburb

This was perfect apartment studio 30 minutes walking to Brussels Midi Zuid Rail station with easy access to train, metro and bus or walking along the canal. It is in a quiet neighborhood next to a school with a wonderful restaurant around the corner. Flemish/French spoken in this neighborhood. I had minimal communication with the owner pre-check in and even though I let the owner know my plans changed from 7 nights to 4 well in advance, Serge insisted that the VRBO linked to Europe (Abritel) was who I needed to negotiate with for a refund. This is not true. VRBO and ABRITEL do not work together, and they insist on phone calls instead of emails. My advice is to not pay in full at time of booking even though there is a policy stated you can cancel. It may be true one can cancel, but I stilll have not received partial refund for fewer days spent in the studio apartment.
