We had a wonderful time at oakridge! The location is perfect, with a great view of the beach. Inside the cottage is charming, well decorated, and cozy, the beds are comfortable and it’s very clean. Even all the appliances are clean. It’s also well stocked with some things you may need, like kitchen utensils, extra bed sheets, board games, there was even a little welcome tote bag with information about the island and items like toilet paper, dish soap, etc. Only negative we encountered was the house is older, so some items like the bed comforters/couch had some stains. it wasn’t a big deal for me personally, with the rest of the cottage being so clean it made up it. Overall, highly recommended and we hope to stay again! We have no complaints there- it was very comfortable. However, the listed amenities do not match the property. It clearly states there is beach access from the street address but that was not the case. We were disappointed to discover that the bridge was under construction. This was not shared with us prior to the stay. We would have never booked this rental without access to the water. We could see, hear and smell the ocean from the back deck but had to drive to access the beach.
