It is out a ways from Ole Miss but it is as great to get to the university with little traffic. Wi-Fi was great, host exceptional and breakfast was good.

Best place in Bruce

If you need to stay near Bruce, and you aren’t on a tight budget, this is the place to stay. Bruce is a small town, and the other options are not great. And Grenada, Oxford, and Houston are a 45 minute drive. Having said that, the Cart Barn is great. Spacious room, comfortable bed, refrigerator in room and ice maker down the hall. It’s in a large metal building that has only about 10 rooms. Our room, number one, was very comfortable. The only shortcoming was that it only has a shower, no tub. The owner is a very nice and accommodating lady named Kay . She is awesome. She asked what time I wanted breakfast and she was up waiting on me. And the breakfast was a great, home cooked country breakfast with fresh eggs, bacon, potatoes rolls, OJ, etc. The place is decorated nicely with a western theme and plenty of Mississipi memorabilia. It’s the only place I’d stay if I needed to be in Bruce overnight.

this is a hidden gem in a rural mississippi. owner kay makes you feel as though you are a long lost relative when you arrive. welcoming and hospitality to the max. the property is quaint and decorated with fun and personal touches like kay's paintings. home cooked breakfast, washing machine/dryer besides fast internet and rocku/netflix/solid tv options. although ms. kay has sold the cart barn, new owners plan to maintain the charm of this lovely property.

Luxury in the Country

We have stayed there one time in the past and both stays were very nice.Best place by far in the area.We have ties to Ms. and enjoy staying in a nice place when we visit.The breakfast was also very nice.Ideal place for the visit and a quiet retreat for our trip.

Bet kept secret ever!

This is a WONDERFUL place to stay!!! Ms. Kay is SO kind and welcoming. If you want a quiet, relaxing getaway this is the place. The back porch is awesome. The atmosphere is so inviting. Feels like home. We will definitely stay again and tell everyone we know about the Cart Barn Inn. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED our stay!!!

I came into town with some friends for the game in Oxford and could not have been more pleased and satisfied with my stay. The staff is wonderful, catering to your needs and making sure you’re stay is comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, from the front door and through the interior when you walk in, as well as the back porch is lit up with lights beautifully at night. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Oxford but the cab service can take you in and out with a round trip fee. We enjoyed talking with the driver and she was great getting us where we needed to be. The Cart Barn Inn is a great place to stay and I highly recommend visiting!

Delightful escape from the busy world
