Tucked among mature evergreens in the cool morning mist, this Brookings cabin is a place to find true relaxation on the Southern Oregon Coast. Spend your days exploring a spectacular stretch of coastline, and your afternoons and evenings unwinding and dining alfresco on two gorgeous decks.

This single-story cabin sits up in the treetops, just across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It's located in the heart of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor - a place to hike the Oregon Coast Trail, explore secluded beaches, and go for long, scenic drives. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges, and Arch Rock State Park are all within seven miles.

Between the two separate decks and the large picture windows found throughout the house, the main cabin is a showcase of its lovely surroundings. Sip your coffee in the fragrant forest air, barbecue on the gas grill in the evenings, and sip wine on the deck off the bedroom as the golden hour light filters through the trees. The interior is cozy and welcoming, from the window-lined living and dining areas to the well-equipped kitchen. There is a charming queen bedroom, bathroom, two TVs, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi for your comfort and convenience.

The studio is separated from the main cabin by a lovely deck for greater privacy and offers an additional queen bedroom and bathroom.

This cabin has a bit more privacy than some others at Whaleshead, since it borders the forest. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the proximity to the beautiful state parks.

We hope to come back to the cabin soon. It was so neat to be tucked away in the forest...and watch the birds.

We have stayed in C-7 countless times over the past decade. It is always a delight. Bill and Eva-Marie have gone above and beyond in providing their "Noble Mobile" with just about all the amenities guests could want. Thank you!

As stated above have stayed at this cabin 6 to 7 times in the past. This time was very different. It lacked some of it's charm and definitely cleanliness.

We have stayed at C-7 Creekside before as a couple. This time we brought another couple with us to see how well the unit works for a group of four using the main cabin and the annex. Overall it was a great experience. The main cabin was clean and comfortable. We used the well appointed kitchen to cook meals and everything we needed was provided. The close access to Whaleshead Beach and the whole Boardman Scenic Corridor was fantastic. The annex was great and it was super nice to have another bedroom that was not attached to the main cabin. The hot tub was a great addition to have. It was clean and well taken care of. Altogether we had a great stay and hope to return!

House was in a peaceful forest setting. Tree house like. But it didn't smell good on the inside. The a separate extra bedroom room smelled horrible and windows didn't have screens so you couldn't leave open to air out. Bed sheets were scratchy, couch wasn't comfortable. Hot tub was set to 100° and couldn't be changed. Not warm enough to use. Kitchen had everything we needed except ice cream scoop and barbque utensils. Whaleshead beach was beautiful and deserted. Could walk or drive there. With some updates, new furniture and uf you could get rid of yhe smell, this rental could be perfect.

When we arrived & entered, we were meant with a sign to remove our shoes. Would never have rented if we had known this My husband is disabled & wears a foot brace. Two teens with us, keeping up with that was impossible. There were slippers provided, but I would have preferred my own. It was a lot smaller than we thought. The deck was a mess & we didn’t use it because of that. It was clean. But just wasn’t for us. A better description of property & what they expect should be provided.

We have stayed at this cabin several times. The lay out works for us. However this will be the last time we come here. It just seems over the years no improvements are ever made. Both beds are so hard and uncomfortable. The main bedrooms mattress is actually uneven, sunk in the the middle, and hard. The pillows in both rooms are so old and have no fluff to them. Frankly they need to be thrown away. Extremely disappointed that the hot tub was unplugged. The toilet in the annex bathroom had the top lid off and sitting on the toilet seat when we arrived.I guess that was to let us know we needed to reach our hands down into the water of the tank to lift chain to flush toilet! This was actually hard to do AND disgusting! They left the light bulb on the bathroom counter I guess for us to change out so we had an outside light. Our last night we figured out that in order to get hot water to shower in the annex room you need to keep the sink water running at the same time. The annex has a little heater that took all night to heat it up. The tvs are so old and so tiny!
