A welcoming, restful sunny coastal cottage and garden nestled on the shores of the beautiful Waimea Estuary on the Bronte Peninsula. Wake to happy birdsong and the ebb and flow of the changing tides. A magical place to unwind and revive the soul A very clean and spacious cottage in a prime but quiet location. Two comfortable Queen size beds. 2 living rooms, Smart T.V. etc. Excellent Wifi / Mobile coverage. A cozy wood-burner fire for the cooler months. Easy access and parking. Many of our guests recommend at least three nights to enjoy the location. The cottage is on an elevated site on a tidal estuary. At high tide, you can swim, explore the Inlet by kayak or just sit back and relax down at the waters edge and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Located 6 minutes from Mapua Village where you will find excellent local Cafe's, Restaurants, brewery, wine bar, supermarket and specialty shops and an abundance of art. The district offers a great climate with plenty to do all year round. The garden is stunning and the house is extremely comfortable and attractive. Kayaking on the estuary was a big plus. In this case it probably is the happiest home you know. Beautifully situated looking out over the bay, three sheep as only neighbours, seating areas on every side, with the well maintained garden providing privacy and living space for all the birds that like to sing to you. Very comfortable inside, with walls full of art from the owners, it is a as if you step into another, far more peaceful world, the moment you enter the premises.
