Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Broekhuizen?
The best time to visit Broekhuizen is during the spring (April to June) and early autumn (September to October) months.

During these periods, the weather is generally mild and pleasant, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of Drenthe. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed and peaceful experience. The landscapes are particularly appealing in spring with blooming flowers, and in autumn with the changing colours of the foliage.

For couples looking for a romantic getaway, spring offers picturesque scenery great for cycling or walking hand-in-hand through the countryside. The longer daylight hours also provide ample opportunity to enjoy the local attractions and dining without the summer rush.

Families travelling with children will appreciate the early autumn.
