"We loved our weeks stay there, tastefully decorated, plenty of room, fully stocked with any utensils you would ever need. I would stay again. The only thing we were unhappy with was a message from the owner via the property management asking if there was an issue with the heating as the house was showing 30 degrees, in other words turn down the heating. "This property is dark dank and has a very prevailing smell of damp throughout the ground floor. So much that we only stayed one night out of 7 booked and I knew that there would be no refund because that’s what these people do. Once they have your money, there is nothing on earth that would make them give you even a partial refund!"

"Absolutely superb ! Like stepping on board the titanic! Fantastic decor. Staff! efficient polite very clean and tidy. Beautiful building inside. Outside building needs some renovation but ok . Huge spacious rooms with everything you need maybe a fridge be useful particularly when hot weather. But all things considered very good. Price very good for July no issues with that . Staff friendly and helpful. Don’t believe all reviews! Some people are too quick to pull a business down. For this hotel comments were about thread bear and tiered! Maybe a bit , but I love that used patina and for a building of its age it’s just character and a fabulous example of a standard from a bygone age . Thank goodness some people keep these hotels alive and kicking. 🙏"
