It was ok. Glorified Premier Inn. Shower flooded, hair dryer didn’t work, breakfast at the diner not particularly generous and overall pretty similar to Premier Inn. Just a bit meh.

Stylish rooms, liked the Dyson hair dryer and straighteners, and the shower. Pillows were too soft for me, but they have others available, and I would ask for those next time. No kettle in the room, so had to go down the corridor to get hot water for a cup of tea etc, which was a bit of a pain 1st thing in the morning. No lift, which is fine if you have no mobility issues. No phone in the room. If you want to contact reception you have to chat, and it sometimes took a while to get a response. I couldn't get my Apps to play through the TV, which they are supposed to, and couldn't get a response by chat to fix this. As for the area, once we got the hang of the buses that was fine. Plenty buses to Cribbs Causeway, and I think into town too. Liked the diner. Really friendly staff, and an interesting menu.

Location was great and parking was free which is a bonus. However a large crowd of kids ruined the eevning as they crowdedd in the garden and made noise for 3 hrs. This could have been prevebted if staff were vidulent

The staff was great I didn’t like that the water machine didn’t work on our floor so every time I wanted a drink I had to walk with my bad legs shower kept turning on and off all through the night tv was turning on and off

What a gem this hotel is, absolute value for money. Cant fault anything, staff lovely (they also make a mean cocktail!), rooms fab and so comfortable. Was a bit concerned about how close to M5 because of traffic noise, did not hear a thing from my room, great sleep. Ate at the diner for convenience and the food far exceeded my expectations. Would absolutely recommend and stay again in a heartbeat.
