Check-in was easy, we liked the onsite secure undercover parking. We visited after the drive from NSW and arrived in the rain, so it was good the get out of the car and enjoy the view from the room. We were in brisbane for the tour de brisbane cycling event and to visit some friends. The next night we enjoyed dinner out at the persian restaurant just around the corner across the roma st gardens. Having access to two balconies was great as like many apartment blocks, windows are not able to be opened (due to safety regulations). Staff were friendly and efficient. The apartment is a little dated but it is clean, safe and quiet. I've stayed in another apartment block nearby, and Summit is much nicer, cleaner and spacious. The car park is easy to access but it may take a while to find a space as the green hotel spaces are randomly spread throughout the carpark. Central train station and Brisbane CBD is a 10-15 minute walk away. I booked via Expedia so the staff did not see my message regarding our arrival time - it might be good to place a message on the Expedia booking confirmation to communicate with Summit directly rather than via Expedia. My only issue is there is only central ducted air conditioning with no temperature control in the apartment.
