Activities are pricey but we anticipated that. It would be better was if there was a water taxi out to the ship wrecks, not sure why this is only offered on cruise ship days. Also book activities ahead if cruise ship is to arrive that day, those days the resort is packed (including restaurants), as most things will book out. It is about a 30 minute walk out to the wrecks. Food options are limited. Buffet breakfast is super average, but for the kids it's worth it. For the price of rooms, not sure why no daily service. A few things seem to be service cutting for the sake of the dollar. The beach is stunning and the wildlife is incredible. Sunsets were something special! Very close to Brisbane and easy to get to. Very comfortable rooms with great views. Lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. Not a huge range of dining options on Mondays and Tuesdays but we were only staying a couple of nights so that was ok. Tangalooma is on Moreton Island which is off the coast of Brisbane. The Tangalooma Island Ferry is the normal means of transport to and from the island, about a 75 minute ride and it runs multiple times each day. The resort has many accommodation choices, many venues for food and drinks, and many options across a wide range of activities. In our case it was just unwinding for a couple of days, doing nothing much at all, and Tangalooma provided exactly what we were after.
