Lookout Unit 8 is a spacious, north-facing holiday retreat with sweeping views across Point Lookout and the complex’s large pool and entertainment area. From June to November, guests can enjoy front-row seats to the annual Humpback Whale migration from the comfort of the unit.

This generously sized three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit is set over two levels and is ideal for families or groups. Upstairs features a king bedroom, while downstairs offers two ensuite bedrooms—one with two single beds at the bottom of the stairs and another king bedroom opening onto the lower deck.

Multiple decks on both levels feature vergola roofs that can be opened or closed to suit the weather, creating flexible outdoor living spaces. Inside, the unit is fully equipped with a modern kitchen, dishwasher, oven and microwave, three TVs, DVD, ceiling fans throughout, and an internal laundry with washing machine and dryer. A BBQ on the deck and undercover parking complete the package.

Guests also enjoy access to the communal swimming pool and timber entertainment area, making Lookout Unit 8 a comfortable and scenic base for a memorable Point Lookout getaway.

Car Parking for this unit is located on the driveway level, then the unit is accessible via stairs towards the pool area.

The location is unbeatable for whale watching from the comfort of your choice of 3 decks and soaking in the stunning panoramic views over the ocean. Not to mention you are directly above the stunning affinity pool.The property itself is well maintained, with native gardens, that attract a wonderful array of birds. This property is perfect for small groups wanting their own space, boasting three ensuited rooms over 2 levels.The property also has good pantry staples, internet a new nesspresso pod machine and a new Dyson stick ( I take my own but no need here ).The unit is downstairs from the carpark, and there are many stairs, so this may not suit all.The staff at Ray White were also exceptional. I would highly recommend Lookout unit 8 and will definately return to this exceptional stay.

For those with very young children the type of deck fencing means that the glass doors to the deck need to be kept shut but that was not a problem at this time of year.

World class view!

The most stunning outlook. World class. My second stay at this property and I would rate it even higher this time as the whole apartment had been renovated and painted. Just a lovely place set over two level with views from every room. Pool a little cool in July but beach was still busy and plenty to do. My only complaint was there wasn’t quite enough toilet paper etc for our week stay but supermarket isn’t far away to stock up on supplies. Thank you for the most pleasant holiday!!!

The apt is well presented, clean and full of activities games, books etc. We loved the unit and would recommend it highly. Our only reservation is that one bedroom is better suited for children rather than a couple as you would generally walk through the bedroom to access the upper levels. It is possible to walk outside to gain access to the upper levels but it would be awkward if weather was inclement.

Amazing holiday location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved the different rooms, bathrooms, desks and swimming pool. The views were stunning throughout the unit. Our kids were 8 and 10 so were fine with stairs and sleeping across different levels. There was a baby gate provided, but we didn't need to use this. One fact that may not appeal to everyone was that the master bedroom was not accessed through internal stairs. You either had to walk through another bedroom and across the deck, or down the external (shared) stairs and in under the deck. We loved having the mildly separated sleeping layout but younger families may not.The unit is beautifully decorated and stocked with utensils,games, books and even binoculars for better whale watching. Some minor maintenance issues included water damage to bottom of vanity in one of the bathrooms, a sliding door that kept coming off the track and a toilet paper holder needs remounting. But all minor things and wouldn't deter us from staying here again.

Bliss Week Away

This is the second time I have been to Straddie and first time staying in a holiday apartment. As soon as we walked down the stairs we were excited by the view. When we got inside the apartment everyone was absolutely amazed and happy with our accommodation for the week. I personally was able to relax on the bottom balcony which over looked the pool while our son had his naps. This way I was able to still be involved with everyone while they were in the pool. We were more than happy with our week at this apartment and keen to rebook next year and make it our new annual Australia Day week away.

Just Perfect

Had an amazing break - Stunning views, to watch the sunset and local wildlife - very relaxing! The Layout of Unit was spot on for family with Teens giving them 'their' space downstairs - a real home from home! Would not hesitate to recommend it - Thank you
