"Very nice clean room with comfortable bed and nice shower. Kitchenette was good with microwave and mini fridge, basic dishes. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Good location with Mary Jane’s restaurant bar next door had excellent food and nice atmosphere. My only small suggestion would be to put variable light switches so you could turn down the lighting at night. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again on my next trip to Perryville."

"This is an older hotel and you can tell the new owners are trying to fix things little by little. However, the fixtures in the bathrooms are old and leaky. The bedroom furniture was solid enough and there were plenty of lamps. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the A/C worked fine. They had a color tv but not packed with channels. We didn't do the continental breakfast so I cant comment on that. They did have a vending machine and an Ice maker which is good. Coffee pot in room was a 1-cup with very limited supplies."

"We had my bachelorette weekend at Deep Woods Escape and it could not have been more perfect for our group of 18 girls! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how incredibly clean and well-kept the house was. It truly had everything you could possibly imagine. Every cooking necessity was there, plenty of towels for the showers and pool, tons of baby items, super comfy beds, bathroom supplies, the list is endless! You can tell so much intention went into the design and layout. The multiple exterior doors made it so easy for everyone to flow in and out between the house, pool, hot tub, sand volleyball court, and outdoor spaces. We especially loved the outdoor shower, the outdoor kitchen, the industrial ice maker (a lifesaver for a big group!), and the fact that there was more than enough fridge space for all of us. Even better, everything was clearly labeled, which made it so easy to stay organized all weekend. This home is truly made for large groups and special celebrations. It was the perfect place to make memories, relax, and celebrate. We are already talking about coming back for a couples trip! Highly, highly recommend!"

"The staff was very attentive. I had two double bed rooms, Both were fairly clean but had a distinct smell that worsen after we turned on the air conditioning unit. I pull our the filters and they were very very dirty. I cleaned both of them with towels in the room, but one room my granddaughter was still coughing and complained of the smell, so I requested another room. I was given another ( Single king) room, when I went to inspect it, it was a person sitting on the sofa watching tv, I immediately ran out and went back to the front desk and was told the counter staff someone was in the room, he told me that room should have been available but it was not...I learned later it was a relative/ staff member of the owner. My family and I were exhausted, tired and ready to get some sleep . The bathroom area had loose hair in the tubs and the poop fans were covered in dirt. We went to a local Walmart to purchase cleaning items after we could not find another hotel in the area . We clean our rooms, went to sleep and left the following morning."

"Auggie and I had a great time in Ste. Genevieve Missouri. The Cozy Haven was just that: cozy, comfortable, relaxing, peaceful and quiet and very nice. There is so much history in Ste. Genevieve, the first permanent settlement in Missouri. There are lots of historic homes to visit, as well as museums, shops and restaurants. The Cozy Have and Ste. Genevieve are lovely!"

"It was a quick visit , hotel was nice , except for the mix up in room . Staff was nice and friendly , breakfast was good . Room was nice and clean , coffee pot was not , didn’t even use because it was dirty . Should probably rethink that , cause travelers like me wanna use a coffee pot in our rooms , but not one that you should have to clean !! Overall I would recommend this hotel . Thanks"
