"The carpet in room 201 was very stained and dirty, it needs to be replaced. The dining room menu is quite limited. My wife does not eat red meat so relies on Chicken being on the menu but the only chicken option was the curry. This was a poor choice."

"Good first impression on entrance. Clean fresh look and helpful staff on check in. The gym was well equipped with a good range of cardio equipment."

"Arrived late (10.30pm) to find car park signage poor, wasnt clear where or how to access reception and ended up going through a rear entrance and walking through the hotel to reception. Receptionist was very helpful friendly and explained the usual nice and quickly. Room seemed fine, shower was great - powerful and hot water a plenty. Wifi worked well and there was space to set the laptop up to work on emails etc. Table had a glass top and previous guests had left food deposits under the glass... The walk to breakfast showed a hotel with good bones that needed some tlc and a fresh lick of paint, the staff though, all fantastic and very friendly. Breakfast was a mix of continental and cooked and everything I ate and drank was very nice and fresh."

"Beautiful stay at this hotel. Lovely character and it gives a great feel for the Shakespeare era with old wooden beams and minutes walk from the RSC. Our room was lovely and clean with great coffee pods! Bfast was absolutely delicious and it was definitely worth having. Plenty of options and the full English was wonderful. Great hotel to stay in if you’re visiting the theatre! But also the pub downstairs is stunning to have a few drinks and relax. Staff are super lovely and accommodating throughout the visit. Couldn’t fault it one bit. Thank you for making our stay memorable. "
