Lovely little place in the Brecon Beacons
Stayed a year ago and re-booked for this year. Just one night stay, but the service is excellent, and we would like to have a longer stay next time. Our host is very helpful, and the breakfast is just what you need. Our room was comfortable, and the bed is lovely. Might bring the dogs next time to enjoy the countryside.

Lovely stay
Very helpful and kind host, room very clean and comfortable, lounge area, kitchen and breakfast area clean and comfortable too. Free parking on site. We stayed due to closeness to riding stables we were going to for trekking through the Brecon Beacons.

Great room, generous in size, great bathroom - especially the shower! Generous bed, plenty of furniture for relaxing. Great atmosphere generated by very helpful and knowledgable owner/manager. All four s great price! (Unfortunately we were not able to sample the wonderful breakfast options, as we were leaving very early, but room had coffee and biscuits.

Lovely location.
In a little village of sennybridge near brecon. 3 pubs lovely roads you could be in france or austria and wouldnt know the difference . A beautiful part of the world. The owner is very nice and breakfast is excellent . . Theres a pool table and table tennis and a lovely lounge too. There was too many gadgets in the room for my taste but we had a wonderful time

Brilliant place to stay
Absolutely excellent. Host was lovely and couldn't have done more. Rooms were very good and nice and clean with extras. Breakfast fantastic and sets you up for the day. Could easily stay a week here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Peaceful and friendly
Very friendly couple who made us feel welcome. Lyndon cooked a lovely breakfast, he even cooked an extra sausage for my dog. It was also breakfast with a lovely view. Room and bed comfortable, nice bath, however the shower was not very powerful. Peaceful quiet location and close drive to waterfalls. The local chip shop was good too.

Small, but perfect!
Short overnight stay required after a long business trip. Host was welcoming and all the comforts were available. The room had everything you could think of and more. The only slight negative, was that the mattress was a little too firm for both me and my partner. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of options available. We would both recommend as a place to stay in South Wales.

Excellent accommodation at Castle Lodge
Fantastic room, plenty of space with modern decor, whilst we didn’t need it this time as it was a short stay there was plenty of storage and wardrobe space, great en suite bathroom with very modern spacious shower. The owners were very friendly and a superb breakfast with lots of choice. Highly recommend a stay for anyone wanting a base to explore the Brecon Beacons. A few pubs to choose from locally but at the moment well worth booking in advance

5 star few days away!
Fantastic few nights here at the castle lodge! Linden was a very helpful and attentive host and made us, our 2 dogs and 2 month baby feel very welcome! He advised there is an offer running from 1st October to February 2022 where you get 3 night stay for the price of 2 - so we will definitely be back for that!

I simply can’t fault the place, and cannot rate it highly enough. The man running the place made our stay so lovely! Everyone in the area is polite and lovely. Every morning we had a lovely breakfast and he even cooked our dog a sausage too so even our dog had an amazing stay. The place was in a stunning location, easy to find and the locals were fantastic. The b&b was clean, we were invited to use the entire building if we’d liked and we were just made to feel so welcome. I highly recommend this stay and would happily stay there again!

Interesting decor, nothing i had been used too. It is not a complaint as i like the unconventional.... the bed was extremely comfortable, the memory foam mattress definitely worked a treat.... breakfast top draw

Excellent value Brecon Beacon stay
Stayed the night on driving tour from South to North Wales. The hosts were great. Room amazingly well equipped with everything thought of. Nice comfortable king sized bed and lots of walkable pubs.

Extremely friendly and helpful host, Lyndon. We left behind a toy and Lyndon very kindly posted it to us. Very comfortable room and great breakfast. Even a pool table was available! All good.

Fantastic B&B
Fantastic B&B with great Welsh hospitality, beautiful location and facilites, smashing breakfast, and extremely good value for money. Having prepaid there was none of the fuss you sometimes still get on check-in either which was great. I think we'll definitely be back to Sennybridge!

This was a last minute booking and was welcomed by friendly hosts who got my room ready at short notice. Excellent guest lounge and superb cooked breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back and couldn't recommend highly enough.

Stayed in Brecon due to climbing pen y fan & wanted an overnight stay Such a cosy & interesting place to stay - lots to do such as pool, darts & board games in the room! Lyndon was extremely attentive & friendly, gave some great suggestions on sights to see when we’re back in Brecon Room was fab, lovely comfy bed, great shower, loved the Bluetooth speaker! Very handy. Forgot our toiletries so thanks for the ammeniries in our room. Great to have a cuppa on arrival as kettle was in the room. We went for a small 10/15 drive to the shoemakers arms for dinner and it was a very nice pub, cosy and the food was fab and great value for money. We had our breakfast at half 10 which was really nice of them as I’m sure they had things to do but was fab to sit next to the fish tank, very relaxing! The food was SO nice & filling! We had a cooked breakfast, we could have had cereals yoghurt & fruit too but was too full. All in all, the value for money is fantastic and we look forward to returning in the summer.

Awesome place for a quite weekend.

I booked 3 nights at Castle Lodge B+B for a surprise break for my partners birthday. The room was clean comfortable and very well equipped over and above what would normally be expected at a B+B. The breakfast was fabulous with a wide choice including vegetarian options. The owner Lyndon was really accommodating and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

Really peaceful B&B. Lyndon, the owner, was great to talk with and supplied whatever we needed. We had a good time. Our only concern was that both my wife and I could not sit down in the room of an evening without one of us sitting on the bed. Breakfast was really good. Watch out for their 3 for 2 offer and grab a bargain.

Siamo stati come a casa.....a parte il wi-fi!
Molto gentile il padrone del B&B. In camera (molto carina e casalinga) c'erano una TV gigante, un adattatore per le spine degli altri paesi europei (vi assicuro che quasi nessun hotel ce li ha!!), un adattatore per spine usb. Purtroppo, però, il wi-fi non ha mai funzionato in due giorni! Solo due velux in camera per arieggiare: poco utili perché apribili solo in piccola parte e se piove...entra in parte l'acqua. Colazione buona e abbondante in saletta molto gradevole con splendido acquario. Location tranquillissima e paesaggisticamente deliziosa.

Gestank, schmuddelig, Flecken in Bettwäsche, Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, kein Kinderbett aufgebaut, Kalkrückstände überall im Bad, umgebautes Behinderten Toilette und zusammengewürfelte Einrichtung ohne Flair. Aufenthalt abgebrochen, woher kommen die guten Bewertungen? Auf unserer GBR Reise die größte Enttäuschung

What started was you made the wrong date for your booking ! You was worried about cancellation fees ..,We said We do not have powers to cancel your stay .We are sorry to upset you .and said We will do every thing We can to help you find some where local .We are sorry We at to take your payment ,We got to pay commissions, When every one Book here with us. Room you wanted with the bath was already taken . Sorry this has upset You .We offered to help in every way . We have New carry cot 4 in 1 . and the place is not dirty ,We would of had bad scores ,We are so sorry You are unhappy .
