"Suite was better than expected. Large 2 mini fridges , breakfast had a variety every morning but you can never go wrong with the waffles. Staff was very friendly and professional . Will definitely stay again on my next visit. "

"I did not stay at Sonesta ES in Lafayette because all rooms were occupied upon arrival despite the fact that I had prepaid for my stay on Expedia well in advance. The clerk was nice however she had a stack of papers one with my name on it and a sticky note saying to send me to another property (same owner.) These properties are located in areas that can best be described as “sketchy.”The 2nd hotel reeked of pesticide. I received a refund. Many properties in the area were sold out. I found the last room at another hotel on my own. My lesson learned is this: I will no longer book reservations through Expedia and I will not stay at Sonesta ES properties. Beware of the old bait and switch even if paid in advance!"

"Everything met our expectations. I did let the front desk know as we were leaving that our room door slammed extremely fast, hard and loudly. It wasn’t a problem for us but I’m sure it disturbed other guests. If small children were there they could easily get their hands, feet, etc. hurt severely or even broken! It should be addressed right away"
