Head out for days spent surfing, walking, cycling or exploring local attractions, and return to enjoy watching the sun set from your terrace or a cosy evening by the wood burner. This fabulous property has an ‘upside-down’ design that makes the most of its incredible views. The three bedrooms are all on the ground floor, one with an en-suite shower room, all with wooden floors and pale walls for a tranquil feel. The chic family bathroom is also on this level. An open-plan living space occupies the entire first floor, under a high, vaulted ceiling with rugged oak beams. The lounge area centres around a wood burner and a Smart TV, with soft seating for total relaxation. There’s a dining table with space for everyone, and a superb kitchen that contains everything the chef will need to prepare all your holiday meals. When you feel like some fresh air, step out onto the decked, first-floor terrace, which boasts panoramic views, or head down to the lawned garden, which has a patio area with seating as well as an outdoor shower – perfect for sandy feet when you’ve been on the beach. This property offers private parking for three cars. Head to Croyde Beach, 0.5 miles, for days spent surfing its excellent waves or watching the action from a cafe. Alternatively, both Saunton Sands and Woolacombe Beach are within 5 miles. From Ilfracombe, 8 miles, you can take a boat trip to Lundy Island, or land lubbers may prefer a shopping trip to the market town of Barnstaple, 10 miles.
