Only down fall to this trip was a leaking hot water tank item that had our water pressure to minimum. The water was starting to cause mold in the floor around the main restroom entrance. But it was clean and presented well. I didn’t appreciate the lady trying to get me to pay for an “special offer” only available at check in which I’m sure was a timeshare presentation. I only wanted to check in and go to our condo, not be pressured into buying something. It was a pleasant stay, and I would stay again if I'm in the area. It's a comfortable place to stay & a great location too. Unfortunately, we have noticed, since Capital Vacations purchased this property, that care for the cottages & some of the amenities has decreased. Some examples-the indoor pool being"closed for maintenance"(2 yrs in a row for our visits), broken/damaged furniture & blinds, sloppy paint/stain jobs, & missing items. We had to make several trips to the front desk for things like trash bags, toilet paper, & dish washer pods, since the cottage was not stocked for a family staying a week. Capital Vacations has appeared to have cut back on security staff as well. But don't worry, they'll have plenty of staff at the counter where you "get your parking pass" to harass you to sign up for a timeshare presentation, after a long drive. Wish the check in process stopped with the front desk staff, because they are always helpful & nice.
