Sadly there was an ironing board but no iron. The internet did not work in our room and the TV picture was not very clear. Fortunately this was only a place to sleep. The staff was outstanding! Unfortunately, they are short-staffed so the front check-in clerk is also their breakfast person. This makes for not only a chaotic breakfast room and not enough food or drinks to make it past the 6 a.m. guest, but it also makes for a slow check-in or out at the front desk. Lastly, the sheets on the bed were too thin and should be replaced. No power going to it! The woman working the front desk was very accommodating considering the fact that it was Christmas and my mom was disabled and we could not do stairs. Unfortunately she had to call someone that was off‐duty to go and clean a room to get my mom and I lower level room with a working heating unit. Our bed was clean. That’s the only good. The old motel needs a lot of work. Inside & out. Half of our light bulbs were out & that made the room really dark. The drain in the tub was clogged up & a bunch of stuff from the drain backed up in our tub. The stairs need some repair & better lighting. The guy that worked the breakfast was friendly but the guy who checked us in was not. It seemed that we were a bother to him & all he would say was “ we have to buses coming & they will pull in where you are parked “ We will not be staying there again.
