Disappointed
Cottage was clean overall but the bathroom had a very potent sour rag/sweating feet smell that was extremely disgusting. Had a son stay somewhere different because of this. Because we only stayed one night and flew in late there was no opportunity for anyone to remedy the situation. Sorry to say but we would not return for another stay. Highly suggest changing the shower curtain and bleach the entire bathroom/shower.

Family vacation
Had a great stay! The rental was a bit smaller than I realized, probably my own misunderstanding/lack of attention, so was a bit snug for myself and my 3 kids, but we still had a great time. We did have to use the pullout bed, so an extra blanket would have been nice. Perfect location with beach access right across the street, and shopping and dining within a short walking distance. Owners were very friendly and accessible, texting to check in and make sure things were going well. A very memorable vacation for this single mom and her 3 kiddos. Thank you so much for having us!

Cute, Clean, and Comfortable!
My husband and I enjoyed staying here! The hosts were very clear with instructions and were quick to respond with any questions we had. The location was amazing! So close to restaurants, shopping and my favorite, the beach! We appreciated the beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and cooler so convenient to take to the beach with us! Thank you for your hospitality, we hope to return in the future!

Right around corner from Bridge Street bars, restaurants, shops, dolphin tours, fishing pier. It's nice bcuz there is NO WHERE to park on Bridge St. Across the road from beach access which was convenient. The property owner is really awesome. Maria was great. Can't say enough about her. There is good on site parking. Unit was sufficient. AC was cold and new. I liked the electronic door pad.

Old building divided up into numerous small rental units. The renovations were done quite rough. Good location, close to Bridge St. Unit was clean, and hosts were friendly.

We came to this place shortly after the New Year, in the midst of Covid. It was PERFECT! Cozy & awesome location! (Clean & comfy) Maria & her husband were amazing hosts, EXCELLENT communicators & friendly. Would LOVE to stay there again!!

Wonderful stay. Place could use a little updating, but still nice. No door to bedroom, but not an issue for us.But the minor things that could use improvement were no big deal considering location. Our porch was private for sitting and watching people walk by or cars. The walk to the beach and location for trolley stop are great! Walk to restaurant and pier in less than 5 mins. Highly recommend would 100% stay again! The

We stayed for 2 nights for a beach getaway. Location was perfect. Directly across from beach access to a quiet stretch of the beach. The location is perfect, you can park the car and walk to everything you want to do for your stay at the beach. Check in was simple and we had no issues. Room was clean and no frills. Could use some updating to mechanicals but that wasn’t a concern to us, everything worked and we spent our time on the beach and taking advantage of the area.

Decent place in the perfect location
The unit could use some TLC and it’s not a two bedroom (more of a studio with a tucked away bed and pull out couch) but the location is prime. Close to the beach and to good bars, restaurants, shops, coffee joints, etc.

Adequate stay / GREAT Location!
Let me start by saying that there are many positives but there were also some negatives. The pictures provided on their VRBO site must have been from another unit since our bedroom did not have windows, a closet, and there was no TV in the bedroom. There was not a pedestal sink in the bathroom. The towels provided were clean but well worn. They showed signs of fraying and some appeared to have bleach stains. Some of the outlets were loose in the unit. The bathroom faucet was loose and moved when we put the water on. With all of that said, the property manager was very quick to respond, excellent location for this unit, comfortable queen bed, and the unit was adequate and clean. We really loved the location because it literally was right across from the beach and Bridge Street was very close by.

Last Minute Night Out
We really enjoyed our night out on the island... nothing new, as we frequently venture out that way. Our quarters were clean, quiet and within walking distance to BridgeStreet. The bed was comfortable, fridge was cold and A/C even colder. If I had to be picky one thing that bothered me, was that the entrance door had a crack at the top. It made me feel like the unit wasnt as secure as it could be. I'm a local and always feel safe on the island but I'm also a bit of a worrier. With all that said I would stay again.

Everything was great. The apartment was in a great location and very comfortable. The only 2 things i would add is more utensils. And what would make it even better is a little gate outside yo the kids can be in the little patio without goi g to the street.

Expected more.
There were both positives and negatives with our trip to AMI. The property was clean and the location was great...less than 50 yards to the beach. The condo itself was adequate but fell short in a couple of areas. The only furniture in the main living area was a couch. The lack of supplies was a bit disappointing. We only had 3 forks, spoons, etc. We had to buy a corkscrew so we could enjoy a glass of wine. There are no laundry services on the property. The owners were very friendly and responsive. My only suggestion to anyone inquiring about this property is to ensure which unit you are renting. Only 2 of the 6 units are worthy of more than a 2 or 3 day stay.

Bradenton beach white sand.
Bradenton beach was just across the street and no crowds, almost private. The bay, shopping, restaurants and Bridge St. Pier were within two blocks. Hope we can return next year.

Great Location
Across the street from a great beach and walking path and a few blocks from Bridge Street, this is a very convenient location. The front door is right near the road and can be noisy especially if you don’t have the ac on. I had difficulties with the combination lock but response was good and solved my problems twice. A nice spot.

Great location
This was a great property to stay at for our first family vacation. It was perfectly located, steps away from the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Maria and Mark were so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. I read reviews before reserving the property and I will say that they definitely listen to their guests as they upgraded the couch mattress to a foam Mattress which was very comfortable and they did supply paper plates so that you don’t have to worry about breaking the good dishes if you have small kids. The house needs some updating as the front door and bathroom door wood is shedding. I do recommend this house as it’s a true beach house.

Charming unit off the main street and near the beach!
Recently stayed at Maria's place and had a lovely time. It was just the right size for three people. It was clean and welcoming! We were steps away from the beach and a block away from the pier and some delicious restaurants. We will definitely be back! We love Anna Maria and now we love this place too. Thank you!

Location is awesome! Beware of the rock-hard bed.
I really wanted to give a better rating but I can't. The location of the property is just great. You can walk to several places to eat and the trolly stop is just outside the house. There are a couple things worth noting. The bed could definitely use an update unless you like the feel of sleeping on a hardwood floor. The other noteworthy incident was when part of the entryway fell on me when I walked through. It hit my head and neck very hard. I notified the owner and the reply I received was "thanks for letting me know, check out is at 10:00, leave the key on the table." I was a bit taken back by that response. That is why I just can't give this property a great review. Up until that day, everything was great! I had already planned on booking for next year.

We really enjoyed our stay in this location. The only way you could be closer to the beach was to actually be on the beach. Perfect access. We loved that we were 2 blocks from shopping and food. Bridge street is great if you are looking for a night life after a day on the beach. We were slightly disappointed in the fact that our rental wasn't as updated as we like. I felt the pictures were slightly deceiving. It was clean but there needs to be updates. Especially the sofa sleeper. Very uncomfortable and it was rough having to sleep on it for 4 nights. It would be ok for children but not for adults. We also knew there wasn't a door on the bedroom area and initially we were ok with that. Being there however, we did not like that it limited our privacy. If they had the tv or light on, I was unable to sleep because it was similar to being in the same room. I think a pocket door would be perfect for that space. Also, the closet doors need repair. They don't stay in the track when opening and closing. We also felt with only the sofa for the living room that it made it difficult to come in and lounge around in the evening before bed. One of us always had to sit on a kitchen chair or lay in the bed. There were plenty of items in the kitchen for food prep and eating. I would like to see them add some plastic service (cups , plates). We ate outside and were worried about breaking the glass. Overall, we loved our stay. I would recommend this place for a 2 person stay but not more than that.

Quaint and laid back...away from the Hussle and bussle
Very cute place. Clean. spacious. Well equipped. Convenient location but a little busy. Front door is directly on gulf Blvd with a lot of car and foot traffic.very easy access to beach, free trolley, and bridge Street shops and restaurants.

Cute unit, location is awesome!!!
This property is located central to everything we walked mostly everywhere with plenty to choose from as far as restaurants, things to do and shops! We easily found a kayak tour within 15 minute drive that was great and the sunsets on the beach were magnificent! The owners made it very easy to book this rental and communication was great! We will definitely be coming back again!

Perfect for a mini getaway

Clean accommodations, close to it all
We loved staying here. Less then one mile from coquina beach and stumbling...I mean walking distance to the local bars. The property itself was awesome, and it comes with a fully functioning kitchen so you can cook your own dinner. I highly recommend staying here.

April at the Beach
We throughly enjoyed our time at this quaint beach cottage. It was beautifully decorated with beach decor and very clean. We didn't cook because we were within walking distance of all restaurants but the kitchen was equipped with all cooking utensils. The beach was just across Gulf drive to enjoy and very convenient for those gorgeous sunsets. To complete our evening we'd walk to the ice cream shop and then sit on the porch and enjoy the warm evening Florida breezes. A very enjoyable three days.

Central to everything and close to the beach
The pictures of the cottage are very accurate. The inside and outside were clean. The kitchen had everything visitors would need to eat every meal at home. The bedroom is in the back of the cottage, making it very quiet. The beach is right across the street and it doesn’t disappoint. There is a walking path right across the street. To the end of island and back was just over an hour. There is a Publix supermarket 10 minutes up the road and there were plenty or restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this cottage and Anna Maria Island to anyone. A beautiful and low-key location.

Another great vacaton at Inn on the Beach!
We are repeat custimers to this awesome place. Dan and Renae are fantastic landlords in providing a clean,comfy and we'll maintained vacation rental that is in one of the most sight after places to be on the Island. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Just across the street is one of the most nicest beaches with gorgeous sand that your toes will ever touch! Thanks again Danny and Renae for another great vacation!

Love the property, love the location, the beach is amazing!!
Rent it. It is a simple basic rental, but the location and beach are incomparable. Walk to bars and restaurants, and the beach is across the street. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Great location.
We have stayed in this unit before. We returned mostly for the location which is walking distance from the Bay, Gulf Beaches, Bridge Street, the remaining Anna Maria Pier and the free trolly which takes you all over the Island from morning to night. The unit itself is safe, bright and clean. I would recommend it for 2 people due to the number of dishes, chairs, etc. Also, I would recommend it highly for shorter stays of a few nights to 10 days because there are no laundry facilities to launder sheets, towels, etc. There is a grill, but it is near only one unit and cannot be moved closer to the remaining units during cooking. I would love to see some hallway and bedroom hooks for jackets, hats, or clothes. Storage for longer visits is very limited. Existing cabinets and shelves are full of really adorable sea themed curios, but again, it limits space during longer stays, which ours have been. Dan, the owner, is readily available to address concerns, and during our one TV problem, was quick with a solution and very friendly. Parking is close by for one car, and there are no steps to climb... something we really appreciate. We would stay there again.
