« We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). « Very expensive for a cheaply constructed hotel. Thin walls, manufactured building feel throughout (floors were echoey and did not feel well constructed, we could hear the TV from everyone’s rooms just walking down the halls) and was over $140 per night on Expedia. Went down for the free breakfast and there was hardly anything left. No soap shelves in the shower (they had been pulled off or fell off and there were markings on the shower wall from where they had been). Had to put our soap and...

« Excellent staff. They were very polite and eager to assist us. The hotel was beautiful and well kept. The food from the hotel restaurant "Oxley House" was outstanding and their bar was perfect. This place has it all. We are definitely coming back for another stay and would highly recommend it to everyone. »
