« We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). « Really enjoyed our 3 day stay at this quaint, private small hotel. At first it might not look like much... but the rooms were recently renovated and super nice and pretty clean. We felt safe, it was quiet almost all nights. Breakfast was really good. And all the staff we encountered were helpful and kind. It is a little far from some of the places we had on our WV list to explore, however, it's in a beautiful part of the state, lots of stores close by, and for the price point it was great!...

« Absolutely beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The room was very clean, had a lot of outlets, and comfortable for the 4 night stay. Beautifully renovated. Enjoyed the view from the hotel room too. As it’s located right in downtown Elkins there are bars and restaurants just a walk away! »

« It was very clean and the room had what we needed. My main criticism is that they state breakfast included and it meets that at only the bare minimum. There were heating pots and other items that hinted to a better breakfast at other times in the season, which is disappointing. »
