« We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). « Not handicapped accessible. No grab bar in the shower. Had to crawl up to the second flower. Breakfast room was real small and we had to wait a good while for a table. Black hairs in the sink and the ice bucket was dirty. »

« Staff was not present when we arrived and was not friendly once they showed up. Room was clean with the exception of finding dirty towel in the bathroom. Air conditioning and heat worked well, with no musty order. Breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon was not very good. Pasty and muffins were okay. Coffee was good and hot. Quiet surroundings made for a good nights sleep. »

« Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough...
