The very friendly owner was on hand to show us around and explain how everything worked. Visited in January with mother who can’t walk too far, but as the surrounding area is quite flat was ideal for her to have a wander. We really enjoyed our stay in Avoncliffe. The apartment was perfect for 3 or 4 adults and a (just crawling) baby and Philip, the owner was friendly and helpful without ever being obtrusive. It was a perfect location for walking down to the lovely quiet Southbourne beach, and visiting Boscombe pier, the more touristy attractions of Bournemouth and the pretty town of Christchurch.
