I am of the opinion properties - homes - all have personalities and energy associated with them. This stunning mountain getaway didn’t disappoint. Peaceful, serene, calming, beautiful — surrounded us from every room view. I was expecting fall like weather and was surprised at the snow which fell freely from the skies. Mule deer trekked through the white covered earth each morning and I had to pinch myself that I wasn’t dreaming. The gas logs burning in the fireplace added to this incredible ambience. Being 15-20 minutes to Boulder and close to our family - and yet privately secluded in paradise - made this an excellent choice for us. ❤️ ##### Jayne V. My partner and I booked this house to stay for New Year’s Eve and drove 1100 miles from Texas to get there. The property owner did not respond to short questions about the hot tub and we became suspect that there was a problem. On the day we were to check in, we contacted VRBO, and they could not get the property owner to respond either. Ultimately VRBO refunded the amount paid with the encouragement of our Bank of America customer service, when we canceled payment. Clearly this caused us to scramble for a place to stay & fortunately the Broadmoor had a vacancy.
