The neighborhood is beautiful and safe, and it was just a short walk to town for coffee or dinner (there are many restaurants to choose from). We spent a day in Salem (a 35 min uber ride away) and a day exploring Boston's North End, and squeezed in a short hike in the nearby forest in Medford. This was great place to stay for our home base as we shopped for furniture and apartment supplies for the “big move”. Quiet, pretty, easily accessible and safe neighborhood. Walking distance to natural park and to cute Medford downtown area (restaurants, bakery, coffee shop, groceries, gas all nearby). Easy check in and out. Well supplied, clean and comfy. studio. Good sized fridge, coffee pot, toaster/convection oven, teapot, hot plate, dishes etc. so able to cook and eat at “home” as needed. Very clean and comfortable. Easy on-street parking.
