We enjoyed our stay here so much! The boat itself was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location is amazing - right in the middle of everything. We walked to most of our destinations. We highly recommend staying here.
A very nice setting and houseboat for a few days in Boston. Well located, and has great access to the city. Stay here for a unique adventure in Boston!
We absolutely loved our stay on the houseboat so perfect!Loved sitting outside enjoying happy hour and the location was perfect could walk to everything. The host made everything so easy!
Thanks so much!
This houseboat was perfect for a few days stay in Boston. We loved being on the water and exploring the Charlestown area. The location was convenient - just a couple blocks walk and we were on the Freedom Trail.
I so happened to pick the coldest week but had no choice as was visiting. Everything was very clean and easy process coming into and leaving properly. I would definitely stay here again but in Spring season. Host was easily accessible to communicate with.
The location puts you within walking distance of all the basic necessities: coffee. Lots of great places to eat nearby and a short distance from the ferry as well if you want to venture out. The house boat is cozy and comfortable and the marina is calm and quiet. Perfect for relaxing or catching up on some much needed rest. I highly recommend this location and will definitely return next time we are in town.
East coast adventure. Stayed on the house boat as it was so unique. We ubered alot as getting around Boston and parking is difficult. The drivers are not patient. We loved our stay.
Wanted to try something different than a regular hotel room and this was it! Short walk to Freedom Trail and Hop on Hop off tour stop for USS Constitution. Seeing the city skyline at night - watching the sunset - and it is in a secure gated area - all great perks! The greeter/check in person was very friendly and the host/hostess easy to communicate with!
Houseboat is as advertised. Clean comfortable place to lay your head close to the Freedom Trail USS Constitution. Space is small and shower is very small but that would be expected on a houseboat. Good option for the price and location.
Just as advertised, and very comfortable. Wonderful communication with the owner and especially Sherrie, who manages the check-in process. She changed her schedule around to support our arrival and was very informative about everything. I highly recommend this house-boat.
It was a super relaxing few days aboard this adorable boat house. Each night we were rocked to sleep. Enjoyed the peace and tranquility. An experience I will always remember with a smile.
Waking in comfort on the water and sitting on your deck of choice to welcome the sun was such a pleasant way to visit Boston. A quick walk brings you on a walk along the waterfront and the “T” ferry is a pleasant way to cross the harbor to the Aquarium/ Fanieul Hall area.
Check in and coordination were beyond wonderful. Highly recommend.
Perfect location for walking the city. Marina was very quiet/peaceful. VERY comfortable bed! Arrange your parking early but the parking garage wasnt a bad walk. Doordash delivered to the parking lot gate. Everything we needed, Highly recimmend!recimmenda

Such a nice boat
Me and a friend so enjoyed our stay. Rocked to sleep in comfy bed and pull out sofa. Only hiccup is that there are no late check ins. That is stated in other rules.
My 2 adult daughters and my grandson stayed for 5 days to sightsee in Boston and walk the Freedom Trail. The house boat was in a beautiful marina with a very nice bath house, surrounded by boardwalks and a park-like setting. Close to the USS Constitution and numerous places to eat. We were greeted at the gate by Sherry and she gave us a great and informative tour of the marina, bath house, and boat. The boat had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We visited the end of October and we're warm and cozy. The boat rocked delightfully all the time. It was an amazing stay!!! We would love to repeat it again.
Location was great - Walking distance to so many places and things to do. Great to literally be on the water for three days and two nights. Houseboat itself was a little weathered, in need of a little maintenance and not as clean as it could have been. Great communication/instructions and guidance from property manager. Relaxing time. Location, location, location.
We loved staying on this houseboat. It was kind of like an adventure inside of an adventure. The only thing I would have changed (if I had the ability) was the weather. Our stay was in November (we were there for an event), so it was chilly. Next time we will stay when it's warmer, so we can enjoy coffee (by morning) and wine (by evening) out on the houseboat's deck. Our greeter was very helpful with the houseboat orientation and with walking directions from the boat. The location was really convenient to downtown Boston, the Freedom Trail, and the subway, whether walking or driving.
All in all, a great stay and we would definitely stay again.
The location is great as being on the water gives it a quiet "away from it all" feel, yet it is walking distance or a short Uber ride to almost everything Boston has to offer. We didn't do much cooking (other than brewing coffee and heating up leftovers) but for a small boat the kitchen area is very workable.
The owners arranged a "greeter" to be there when we arrived to help make sure we knew all the ins/outs of staying on a boat.
We really enjoyed having two outside sitting areas - one for sunrise, and the other for sunset. It was a plus to be able to watch a lightening storm while we were there, yet still felt very safe - just a bit more rocking us to sleep that night.
A friend once told be she wanted to live on a houseboat. She was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and I knew I had to get her to a houseboat for an adventure. After I a little research I found this property and knew it was just what she needed. It’s a beautiful location with amazing access to local attractions and fabulous dining. We signed up for parking right at the marina and Uber’d to dinner. There is a Whole Foods not too far from the boat with great parking. The biast was peaceful and relaxing with the gentle rocking. This was definitely a great choice and we enjoyed every minute. I would highly recommend this experience.
This houseboat is set up quite well for guests. It is an older boat, but everything you need is there. It is in a safe place. It was quiet. The waves were not too bad most of the time. There were confusing rules that said one thing in the email handouts and something quite different on the rules posted in the house. We did the best we could to interpret. The price was fine, but the markups that VRBO adds MORE than doubled the cost. Add $50 for parking and is was a pricey excursion that sadly the owner does not get to share in. We wish there was more infrastructure within walking distance in Charlestown. Just a couple of restaurants and just a couple breakfast places. Overall the house was well represented in the description. The 4 pages of rules and regs was a little intimidating but we understand the protections for the house and the boat community around need to be communicated.
