« We went in our room, went to put something in the fridge, the door fell off. That was the first sign. Broken cabinet doors, drawers that don’t shut and come out on their own, AC had crap all in it, probably never cleaned, the chairs in the room were full of stains and a torn cushion that was just flipped upside down to try to hide the tear. « Our door had a gap in it and wouldn’t lock properly. Anyone could push the door open. Smallest bathroom I’ve seen at a motel. No staff on duty, you have to call someone to get into your room. Felt like I was staying at the Bates Motel. »
