4.8 out of 10, (3 reviews)
"Great location but sub standard service and the rooms are small and loud. Stayed here for one night and got billed twice (not sure if Hotels issue or with them). As I was checking out early they’d offered a breakfast bag which I said yes to, but when I showed up the next morning the person in reception had no idea and couldn’t find any. Stayed in a Standard room which was small and every sound from the room next door could be heard through the walls. Not planning to stay here again"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Borša?
The best time to visit Borša is generally during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, when the weather is warm and pleasant for outdoor activities.

During these months, you'll find the vineyards in full bloom, making it a beautiful time for wine tasting and exploring the local scenery. Temperatures are comfortable for walking and cycling along the Bodrog River or visiting the nearby Tokaj wine region. This period also sees the most local festivals and events, offering a chance to experience regional culture and cuisine.

For travellers interested in the region's viticulture, late September to early October is an excellent choice as it coincides with the grape harvest. This offers a unique opportunity to see the winemaking process in action and participate in harvest celebrations.
