Top Borkovany Hotel Reviews

Hotel International Brno

Hotel International Brno

10/10 Excellent
"Room was clean and well organised. The bed was made every day - and fresh towels were provided. The breakfast was sumptuous - I don't think I've seen an hotel breakfast like that in decades. It beat many of the best places I've been to and has to be the top for breakfasts in terms of choice, quantity, and quality. The only slight downside was the wi-fi, which worked ok for my phone but not my laptop. Would definitely stay here again,!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Borkovany?
The best area to stay in Borkovany is within the village centre itself, as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the surrounding vineyards.

Borkovany is a small, traditional Moravian village, and its centre is quite compact. You'll find the main church, local shops, and a few guesthouses clustered around the central square. The streets are generally quiet and easy to navigate on foot, with vineyards often beginning just a short walk from the last houses.

For couples looking for a relaxing escape, staying directly in the village centre provides a peaceful base. You'll be within easy reach of local wine cellars for tastings and can enjoy leisurely strolls through the vineyards right from your doorstep.
When is the best time to go to Borkovany?
The best time to go to Borkovany depends on what you'd like to do, with late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) offering pleasant weather for outdoor activities and grape harvesting.

For those interested in exploring the region's vineyards and enjoying outdoor pursuits, May and June provide warm, sunny days suitable for cycling, hiking, and visiting local wineries. The countryside is lush and green, and temperatures are generally comfortable without being too hot.

If you're keen on experiencing the traditional grape harvest and wine festivals, September and October are ideal. The weather remains mild, and you'll find plenty of opportunities to sample new wines and local produce.
