The manager Jason was very rude, terrible customer service. Rang the day before checking in to ensure what I read online was correct.
Don't google checking in time, it says 2pm but check in is 3pm.
Was promised a room with a balcony, which I didn't get.
The first thing I noticed when going into the room was a dirty throw blanket with stains on it at the foot of the bed.
As you could imagine this instantly gave me dirty feeling in the room.
The telephone to call reception didn't even work so I had to use my own Mobile phone to call them.
I understand it's a "vintage" style hotel, but it definitely needs renovating.
It has the smallest TV in the room so far away from the bed that it was pointless having it. Also the remote barely worked.
Needless to say, I did not stay the night. Upon checking out one of the staff members was actually quite nice and didn't charge for the bottle of water I ordered to the room. (Never been to a hotel that charged for still water except for this place)
Would I return? NO! I would have had better service and cleanliness in a B&B or even a travelodge!
