It is always disappointing when you go to a hotel that promotes itself as a 4-star hotel and, at best, it is only a 3 star hotel. Hotel Parifi & Spa is in a good position but the rooms not facing the beachfront are right on the road and opposite two railway tracks which are extremely noisy. Our room No406 was also right next to the elevator and that further added to the noise. The self serve buffet breakfast is limited and uninspiring - too many bread and pastries, with limited fruits and no variety. No room service menu or hotel directory in the room. No English speaking channels on the TV including news services. The lobby, restaurant area and outside terrace area look tired. There are also major beachfront works being undertaken which potential guests, as we were, were not advised of. Having worked in 5 star hotels and taught hospitality management for many years, this was a really disappointing experience. My advise to the hotel - focus on becoming the best 3 star hotel you can, then you won’t let future guests down. If you are thinking of staying book only beachside and don’t expect four star service or amenities.

Great Staff
The hotel is waterfront and we had a waterfront room which we would recommend. We would also recommend undercover parking which the hotel offers. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. However it is the staff who made our three night stay so enjoyable. The whole staff are very friendly and helpful.

Pleasant stay at Hotel Parigi
Very comfortable, spacious room with lovely sea view. Pleasant staff. Quite difficult to park near the hotel but it was at the weekend and probably easier during the week. A good location for the beach and town.

We were initially disappointed by the standard seafront room we had booked, which was poky, had an unpleasant smell and was cold as we didn’t know you have to ask reception to turn off the air con. We felt there was a lack of clarity on room prices as the « special non-refundable » deal was so much more than people were paying who just pitched up. But when we complained the hotel could not have been be more helpful, they moved us to a lovely superior room and we had a wonderful stay from then on. The private beach is great and

People make the difference - Bfast improve?
Reception excellent at arrival. Somewhat neutral at check out. Simply confirms how people do, and always, make the difference - especially in any (service) sector. People are not numbers, nor are they easily substituted. Breakfast looks like it is “out sourced” and when compared to any other italian 4* (or 3*) leaves ample room for improvement. Pay the extra to get sea view - restaurants next to the hotel are absolutely valid.

Lovely stay in Bordighera
We loved the hotel and the proximity to the beach. Very comfortable room with air conditioning. Nice breakfast with tons of choices. Charming and beautiful seaside town.

A step away from the beach. Perfect location. Not much to do and see in Bordighera but room was nice. Friendly staff.

Disappointing
The hotel it’s ok but we had a couple of problems, not fabulous for sure. You are supposed to have one free hour of Spa during your stay, the problem is that the Spa is only for six people and it’s closed from 7pm, so if you’re planning to enjoy the Spa be sure to book your spot well in advance. When we called there was no availability anymore and the spa was the main reason why we chose the hotel, that was a big disappointment for us. Second thing is that we paid more for a room with sea views and the view was only partial on the side, not exactly what we expected. The room a bit old and decadent.

The Hotel is disappointing.
This Hotel is in an excellent position, however, apart from that it is very disappointing. Our room was very small with the bed at a strange angle. The bathroom was not very clean. The breakfast was not well organised and we had cold coffee with cold milk. 4* for position, 2* for the rest of the hotel. Our friends from the US had a TV and a jacuzzi that did not work for 3 days, a bathroom that was not cleaned properly. Waited 3 days for extra hangers, not happy with breakfast and 1 dinner. Their comment was they would not stay there again.

Hotel Parigi a little bit of paradise
When I booked Hotel Parigi, I was looking for a nice, well-located hotel on the Italian Riviera to go and relax for a few days. After I made the booking, I started looking at the reviews and became a little dismayed, as they were mixed - especially in regards to the staff. That said, I can't say enough about the staff and the treatment I received during my four day stay. The first night I became incredibly ill, due to exhaustion prior to my trip. The staff was so accommodating in regards to helping me be comfortable and keeping my room cool. I found all the staff to be pleasant and courteous. The facilities are wonderful, with use of the spa being a bonus. The beach is a clean mix of sand and stones, perfectly situated across from the hotel. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and varied. While I did not eat dinner at the Hotel, the bar and surrounding rooms were lovely. Upon return to NY, I was hospitalized- yes, I was THAT sick. I promise to return to Hotel Parigi to "complete" my vacation sometime in the future.

Pretty hotel near the beach
We booked this hotel in the last minute but we were pleased with our choice when we got there. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and had a gorgeous beach view from our balcony. The staff were friendly and welcoming, also. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

A very good experience at Hotel Parigi
This hotel is perfectly located right in front of the beach not separated by a road. The beach is a cobblestone beach and was very clean and not busy when we got there for easter holidays.There are some excellent restaurants in the immediate beach front area and the hotel is close the old city center. There is a large parking in the back that is free with immediate access to the hotel. Internet was fast and breakfast buffet was good and plenty with a mixture of bread, pastry, cakes, cheese, pastrami, eggs, bacon...etc. We had a family suite with lateral sea view who had a large 2 person bed and a large 2 person pullout bed located in a separate room. The rooms are clean and there is a mini bar fridge with alcoholic drinks. The bedding was very confortable and very suitable for tall people. There is a train track in the back but the noise didn't bother us much at night. Hotel staff was very friendly and spoke a very good level of English. I will definitely go back to this hotel in the future.

I booked this room on behalf of a couple for a romantic weekend in Italy. They were quite pleased. The hotel is right on the lungomare with stunning views. He is tall and commented that this was the only bed so far in Europe that was long enough for him! Bordighera is a lovely seaside town.

Great little hotel in Bordighera.
Lovely traditional hotel situated at the end of the promenade in Bordighera. Large room with little balcony, huge bathroom and great sea view. Friendly staff, one of whom helped me carry my luggage from the garage where I parked my motorbike - the parking was a bit pricey at €13 - maybe they could offer a cheaper rate for motorbikes! Loads of places to eat out, which I did, but the hotel menu looked good. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. All in all a very nice place with nice staff. Oh, it does have what must be the slowest lift in the world - but if you're not in a hurry, it shouldn't matter....

A delighful weekend at a lovely hotel.
Delightful. The room had a balcony overlooking the sea and had sun all day. The restaurant was excellent and the staff were helpful. The only problem was cold water one morning when the gas from the town failed, but they informed us about it and got it sorted out quickly (on a Sunday).

Excellent welcome and friendly staff. Visit was early september so not height of season and very quiet. Arrived by train and easy walk from the station. Good place to relax for two or three nights.
