    This home makes an enviable home base in Boothbay Harbor, whether planning to spend your days whale-watching, kayaking with Tidal Transit Kayak, or simply perusing the shops, restaurants, and galleries that populate this darling Midcoast town.

    After a day of coastal excursions, you'll return to a casual, comfortable living area with two sofas and a smart TV, a well-appointed kitchen with all the essentials, and a small indoor dining space. Wonderful accommodations and location!

The Lobster Trap was a great place to stay in BBH. It was spacious , clean, and comfortable. Plus, it's dog friendly. There's a nice spot to sit outside and it's a pleasant walk to downtown. We couldn't have asked for more.

Perfectly situated away from the main hustle of town but close enough to walk to downtown Boothbay Harbor within 10 mins. The house is perfectly sizes, very clean and with all amenities needed. Would highly recommend!

Just what we needed!

We were vacationing with a large family who had lodgings just a mile up the road, and the Lobster Trap was a perfect home-base for our family - clean, quiet, and spacious. Recommend!

Nice location. Quiet neighborhood

The house was nice, and clean. Neighborhood was quiet. No fire pit which was shown in original pictures. Overall it was clean and easily accessible. We appreciated the dog dishes and having washer and dryer was nice.

Nice place close to the town centre

We enjoyed the stay in this beautiful town of Boothbay Harbour very much. Everything was close and reachable by foot. Apartment was clean and everything was there (shampoo, towels, soap etc). One minor disadvantage was, that it wasn't possible to darken the bedrooms properly.

Location of unit was great. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to town. Our suggestion for the bath, either put a grab bar by the toilet or put in a higher toilet. Older people really appreciate bar or higher commode. Beds were very comfortable.

The living space was nice and clean. No views of anything from home. Missing a few standard kitchen needs for maine like lobster cooking pot and crackers. This is a 2 story place and someone lives on 2nd floor but very quite person no issues at all. Great location in boothbay within walking distance of most local harbor attractions.

Nice first floor apartment with two big bedrooms. Plenty of living room and kitchen space. Could have used a couple of more frying pans….there was only one. The only issue that we had was the living room smoke/CO2 detector was missing the battery, thus it was not working. We bought some 9 Volt batteries only to discover that it required AA batteries. I was a bit uncountable with this fact. Other than that, our stay was great.

Great location, with minor inconveniences

The location is amazing and is what you are paying for, however some improvements could be made to the property itself. The only AC is located in the second bedroom because the windows in the rest of the property are old and cannot fit a unit. One of the windows in the primary is broken and can't even be opened. The hairdryer is from the 1990s and is broken- there is no switch to turn it on or off. The main light in the bathroom also does not work. The place was otherwise clean, has plenty of space and like mentioned above is in a great location as it is a 10 minute walk to main downtown boothbay harbor.

Cozy 2-bedroom in convenient walking location

The location is perfect as it is a short walk from Barrett Park as well as from takes you across the harbor to all the shops and restaurants Boothbay Harbor has to offer. The place was well equipped with kitchen utensils and toiletries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
