Find a Bed and Breakfast in Booth from CA $115

"The reservation was booked through hotels.com, but when we arrived we were told that the reservation had been canceled. The hotel gave no reason, just that it had been canceled. We showed them the reservation confirmation, but it fell on deaf ears. I've used hotels.com for years, but no more."

"PROS: The facilities: The room and hotel seem very new. The facility is well taken care of and clean. The amenities in the room are very nice. There were two elevators that were always available and were pretty quick. The layout is very logical and clean (easy to find your room). Inside the room: There was a full size refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher; Basically, everything and the kitchen sink. The bathroom was modern and shower was very nice. The room was extremely spacious and luxurious. The staff was great! The front desk was friendly and helpful and were able to answer any questions i had. The breakfast was very nice and equivalent to some of the better hotels i've stayed. CONS: The only detractors that I found were: The parking. Parking says free, and it is if you park on the street, but the hotel parking lot charges $20 a night. Which is not listed in the hotel information. However, the location is regularly patrolled by municipal police and the area seems generally safe and secluded if not in an older/abandoned part of down. There is a train that goes by nearly every 2 - 3 hours and honks it's horn loudly. You can hear it easily over the A/C. However, there are other hotels that charge 2 or 3 times as much as the Home2 Suites that are subject to the same thing in the area, so it's just a thing. The only other thing i found as a detractor, but it's really not a big thing, is EVERYTHING outside the room is extra cost (workout room, etc...)."

"The hotel is pretty old and it shows. We had poor lighting in the hotel room and the tv in the living room space didn't work. Things just look beat up. The place was clean and the staff was friendly though. The parking was a pain. They had a big dumpster in the lot so parking spots were limited. The parking underground was dirty, wet from the rain, and dark. "

"The main lobby areas were nice and clean. The check in staff was no where to be found. Waited 10 to 15 minutes.. I tried calling the main number thinking they were busy with another guest. It seemed the clerk was having a cigarette while parked in the handicapped spot and didn't see anyone enter... When she did, she was clearly annoyed by our presence. Also, the room had the musty old carpet smell."

"This hotel has gone completely downhill. The one redeeming thing was Brittney, the front desk clerk. She was the sweetest and very helpful and doing the best she could, but this hotel is nasty dirty. Stayed twice, one week apart - first time, no remote for the TV. Maintenance man came and brought us one. Trash in elevator and hallways, smelled like weed in the hallways. Even the luggage carts are dirty. Black bugs on the floor of the room, when we came back the 2nd time stayed in the same room and the same black bugs were in the same spots. Plus an empty pork rind bag was on the floor. 2nd time, system was down - no room keys available. No shower curtain in the bathroom. You get ONE towel per person, ONE soap, very bare minimum, no coffee. A metal gate comes down over the check in desk at night and there is no one at the desk in the morning to check you out either. You get what you pay for, will NEVER be back"

"Bed was nice, all the staff I spoke with were amazing and helpful. I had only one issue with one lady being kinda rude but EVERYONE else was so nice and helpful. Very nice hotel and right by the convention center. I chose to stay embassy suite instead of the host hotel for the free breakfast and very happy with my choice."
