Upscale Cabin With Stunning Views

Welcome to Almost Heaven!

Conveniently located just a few miles (10 minutes) to downtown Boone, Almost Heaven offers expansive panoramic views of the Appalachian Mountains. You will often be above the clouds in this cozy, tastefully decorated cabin with accommodations for 8.

The great room features a stone fireplace, large TV, comfortable seating, long dining table, open kitchen, and a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs in the loft bedroom, you will find an additional King bed and a twin, with mountain views out the large windows, and a full ensuite bathroom. The lower level contains a second living room, TV, bar area, coffee table/foosball game, and two additional bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and one with a Full and a Twin.

A central location and views as far as the eye can see make Almost Heaven hard to beat.

High on the mountain top

We really enjoyed this beautiful property views, and home, great living space! We arrived after a winter storm , snow was all over the ground. If you go in the winter time, you will need 4 Wheel Dr..

Beautiful view, horrible management

The home it’s shelf was beautiful and had amazing views, unfortunately that’s where the good ended. The very steep driveway had over a foot of snow on it and was not plowed even though the rental agreement stated it would be over 3 inches. The icy driveway was not walkable especially with a baby in tow so our only option was to drive on it to get close to the walkway. Our 4 wheel drive car got stuck and the property management was zero help at all. Even the tow company could not get the car out so we spent the entire weekend shoveling the car out of the driveway that should have been cleared in the first place. We were not provided trash bags, soap, dish detergent or sponges, no wonder the place and kitechen utensils were dirty since there was nothing to clean with. The floors under the couches were filthy and there were stains all on multiple comforters that could have easily come out if they had been washed. I would never stay here again and would never recommend this place or anyplace managed by Carolina Cabin Rentals.
