This property is gorgeous, my husband and I loved walking around and looking at all the art. It’s 500 years old which is x3 the age of our origin country so it blew our minds. Breakfast was classically Italian and delicious.

STUNNING HOTEL ! I was there for the Transitalia Marathon motorcycle event, I will go back, one bar in the lobby ! 600 year old building, Incredible !!!

Hostile Service in an Amazing Palace
We arrived prior to others in our group and were told we had to wait for them to check-in (two separate reservations). We were finally able to not wait and were told they didn't want to have to go up the stairs twice. The woman at check-in was very unpleasant. The common areas of the palace and the rooms were just as expected - extraordinary! The instructions in the room remind you of what is "FORBIDDEN" while touring the property. Review the check-in policies because I believe they are stricter than other places in order to not man a desk. We are wine collectors and wanted to enjoy a bottle of wine in the evening but the rooms didn't have glasses. We thought it was lucky that there were some in the wine tasting room downstairs to only be reprimanded for entering the area. We were told twice, "don't do it again" in text and we had set off an alarm. The area is also where they had stored our wine. We would have loved to put for a tour of the place (which they offer) but felt so uncomfortable with their hostility. Our experience was a shame for the grand property. We did not encounter any other guests on the property. Also worth noting our room was significantly different than our friends (same room type).

This prppeety was very old yet very updated. It was so clean you could eat off the floors. i highly recommend this as a place to stay while in Bolsena if you are not handicapped in any way onlt because of the stairs.

This hotel is in an incredible building. It's like sleeping in an old castle. Love the decor and the rooms were spacious and well equipped (except for no air condition and it was really hot when we went). The bathroom was modern and clean. The location is also great, right by a nice piazza so you can find food, coffee, bars easily close by. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the lakefront, which is also gorgeous.

Purtroppo siamo costrette a scrivere una recensione negativa: nonostante la gentilezza del personale abbiamo vissuto un risveglio terribile proprio il giorno della partenza. Il proprietario della struttura ha bussato con veemenza alla porta per darci il check out ben 20 minuti prima dell'orario che ci era stato segnalato da una mail di Expedia (10:30am). Al nostro tentativo di spiegazioni il proprietario ha ribadito con arroganza che avremmo dovuto lasciare la stanza alle 10:00am. Quando ormai trafelate con le valigie ci siamo recate alla reception per saldare la tassa di soggiorno ha finalmente ammesso l'errore e si è scusato seppur minimizzando un atteggiamento inqualificabile in un luogo che si definisce location di "charme". Restiamo deluse e non torneremo a soggiornare in questa struttura.

Meglio così....non ne sentiremo la mancanza:nonostante vi abbiano chiesto scusa,"inqualificabile"è stato il modo di reagire di una delle ospiti che,ignara delle scuse,ha inveito nonostante l'altra ospite provava a calmarla....proprio una figuraccia!

Abbiamo prenotato x 4 stanze. Ambiente ben curato negli arredamenti. Tutto ci riporta ai secoli scorsi, visitabile anche come museo. Peccato che tre camere abbiano scala di accesso pericolosa e meno gradevole delle immagini recensite

Bella camera in un B&B in una residenza d'epoca 'principesca' in cui perdersi in centro a Bolsena. Peccato per la mancanza della colazione causa covid (ci sono alternative e un bar di fronte).

Residenza veramente del '500, una delle principali attrazioni di Bolsena. E' stato come vivere dentro un museo, decori, libri, tutto rimasto come inalterato. Chiaramente anche le porte e le finestre per esempio. Peccato non aver avuto modo di usufruire della colazione per via del post-Covid e quindi di un servizio ridotto.
