A little far away from trainstation, but close to shopping and bus. The service was amazing - great staff! Superfriendly and helpful. Room very nice, and the bathroom cool. Next time in Bologna, this is my place.

A nice hotel

Spent a night here last week, staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area, room was a big size. The free croissant and other little items with a coffee in the morning was a nice touch.

Dated but functional for a one-night stay. The room and bathroom were quite large! Stefano at the front desk was kind and helpful, and the breakfast options were nice. The hotel was rather loud, not because people were inconsiderate but because there were hard floors throughout the building with no rugs or the like for sound absorption. Overall nothing fancy but worth the price I paid.

The members of staff were kind and always ready to answer my questions. There is a self-service wash and dry shop, within 5 minutes from the hotel. Downtown in about 15/20 minutes. The porticoes are a blessing in Bologna .

This was a perfect place to stay during Il Cinema Ritrovato. It's walking distance from all of the cinemas and numerous great restaurants. The hotel room was clean with a good shower (although weirdly there was no shelf in the shower so you had to just put all shampoo/shower gel bottles on the floor) and air-conditioning. Very friendly staff on the front desk.

Great!

I came to Bologna to attend a class for a week and stayed at this hotel. I am very happy with the stay and can recommend stay at this hotel. The hotel is close the the city center, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is light and good and the cleaning was thorough. It is likely that I will return to Bologna at a later point and I will not hesitate with using San Felice again. Thank you!

We only stayed here one day, but there was road construction going on in front of the building that was very loud! Apparently this will be going on until sometime in the summer 2025. We stayed on a high enough floor on the back of the building that we didn’t hear the noise. The bathroom was huge with a nice shower. We had four people in our group, and the beds were super tight. Hard to walk around the room. Breakfast is included, which is great; however, it seemed that a lot of the food had been eaten or picked over when I came down around 8 AM. Hours were 7 to 1030. No refills on fruits. Front desk and staff 24 hours a day, which is great you just drop off your key as you leave the building to go out for meals, etc. Staff were friendly enough. The front desk person offered us coffee and tea as we were leaving. This was a nice touch! I would stay here again once the construction is complete.

Starting off with the good. The staff was amazing. They gave great suggestions on places to check out and were so friendly. They recognized us and remembered our room number. The location is fantastic and everything we wanted to do was very walkable or close to public transit. The espresso and Cornetto every morning was also a great touch. Now for the bad- the room was tidy, I wouldn’t say super clean. We found mouse droppings on the outer windowsill of the bathroom, and cobwebs and hair in the shower. The AC barely worked, it didn’t cool the room down at all. We were better off with the windows open, but with the mouse droppings we weren’t sure it was a good idea leaving them open. Also the cleaning staff begins cleaning early, like 8:30 and they are not quiet about it. Slamming doors, etc, make sure to bring earplugs.

The room I stayed was cosy and the bed was comfortable. The A/C in the room was powerful and I was very thankful because it was very hot outside. It’s in a good location. I took a quick taxi ride from the airport - about 35-38 euro. It was easy walk to the center of the city and cafes and restaurants were nearby. The front receptionists were very friendly and kind to respond to my requests. I would definitely stay there again next time when I go back to Bologna! A few additional feed back to make it even better are; 1) It needs a proper tower hanger in the bathroom - a small hook on the wall doesn’t hold a towel well, it kept falling down. 2) The shower drainage was going very slow and made a puddle every time I took a shower. 3) It will be even better if there was a small refrigerator in the room. Also just want to mention that there were some misinformation on the hotel.com site and the hotel staff didn’t even know; 1) It said there was shuttle service, but they didn’t. Instead, they suggested the front receptionists were very friend to take taxi to the airport and could always book a taxi if you make a request. 2) It said there were coffee shop, private dining and snack bar lounge, but it was not correct. The lobby area has tables and chairs and they served breakfast there. 3) It said no room cleaning service, but there WAS a daily cleaning service. 4) It said there was laundry facility, but there was no laundry room there.

Hotel is tucked away in a quiet part of town, the hotel is quite basic, but has the essentials particularly the air conditioning which was absolutely fantastic and needed in Bologna!

The only good thing about the hotel is its location, but the breakfast is terrible, with no space for meals. The acoustics in the room are terrible; you can hear all kinds of noise.

Great value, clean rooms and friendly staff. Hotel needs a bit of a refurb and it’s a bit noisy (you can hear the people in the room next to you) but this is outweighed by attentive staff, great location and reasonable price.
