The bedroom had no windows and was very dark and stuffy. There was no hot water in our shower. It also appeared as though the receptionists entire family had moved in and were scattered all over the hotel.

Decent hotel at a good price ($35)
Service was good. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and courteous. Room is very small, but OK for 1-2 people. I requested a room in the back, so I didnt have to deal with the street noise. Room had a safe, which was a plus for me. Shower had hot weather, but not steady, it got cooler by times and then warmer. TV had several channels (English and Spanish). The area is OK. Some restautants nearby. Transmilenio (bus) stop was a few blocks away. Breakfast was simple (scrambled eggs, 2 toasts, coffee and a fruit juice). Overall, not too bad for $35. For that price, I could have expected less.

Small room but big hearts in the staff.
Staff friendly and helpful, though no one spoke English. Room very small and no window. But everything newly renovated and service good. Did not like the local area - hard to find restaurants.

Fantastic service
We were upgraded from Olimpo to Von Astoria, so our rating is only valid for Von Astoria, but the staff here was the most serviceminded I ever have experienced on a hotel.

A cheap hotel with 5 star hotel elements
You can't go wrong with this one. Great cost / benefit ratio for the city of Bogotá. Although it looks as an old house on the outside (due to local architecture regulations) on the inside it looks modern, clean and amazingly well decorated. The rooms have Smart TVs (netflix), NFC keycard and look somehow luxurious (although a bit small if you go for a basic room, but the space was enough for me & my gf and a fair fit for what we paid). The service is great and they will truly care for your well being (the kind that makes you think tipping is well deserved, and they will keep doing it even if you don't tip at all). The Chapinero zone is covered in graffiti and you have to follow the local "common sense" rules (don't use your phone on the street, don't wander into unknown places, don't walk too late in the night) but if you're not stupid enough to expose yourself to danger in a Colombian city on purpose, you get to enjoy nearby super cheap food stalls (great creppes at 0.8 USD for example) and a thriving commerce. 3 Minutes walking distance from a station from the local public transport Transmilenio, that's as convenient as it can get. Their good internet reputation is definitely well deserved. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.

GREAT SMALL HOTEL
Very Clean, outstanding service from all the staff from bellboy, the door attendant, the housekeeper great attention to detail our room was impeccably clean and was done everyday. The receptionists were all very polite and pleasant. The hotel location is great everything is within a short taxi ride no more than 20 minutes... The food was good, there is also a very good restaurant within a two block distance from the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.!

I really enjoyed staying there, One of the shows they don't speak English so you couldn't be speaking Spanish to communicate so you couldn't be speaking Spanish to communicate, to be building nice and very secure So I would say I Wooding Joey my staying there

Average room and location.
The location was ok though in the night it was quite noisy with a neighbor club. The room was spacious though the service was not so good. They never gave me the room key as the card never worked and they did not bother to fix it. Also there were dirty tea cups still in the room. And no breakfast was included. But the staff was curtious and helpful. The location was ok. It was a taxi ride to the museum but not too far.

Clean, comfortable and newly renovated rooms. This is more of a guesthouse than a hotel. The night staff were really rude and unhelpful, too busy talking and laughing with their friends to actually help you. And the place is really noisy with the staff and being so close to a main road.

Necesitaba estar cerca del hospital san Ignacio, y queda perfecto, en 5 minutos caminando. Está calificado como 4 estrellas, pero en realidad son 3, sin embargo es cómodo y barato

No hay servicio de wifi el agua es fría toca avisar para que prendan una pila no avisan el número de recepción solo dan una toalla y un jabón sabiendo que la reserva era para dos personas perdonas trabaja D y martillando encima de la habitación el servicio de botones no hubo tico subir las maletas pesadas en general muy regular el servicio no recomendable

tenemos 3 reuter wifi rompemuros,se dan 5 toallas minimo por habitacion si desea mas puede pedir todas las que quiera, lastimosamente no podemos saber cuando se va a acabar una bateria, pero inmediatamente se cambio y quedo solucionado. usted pago la tarifa de menos de lo que vale un hostal en bogota y lastimosamente no podemos tener 24 horas al dia el botones pero si desea concierge por un modico precio adicional se lo podemos suministrar. pero si no podemos volver a darle precio especial a usted.

hola, tenemos 3 reuters de wifi de 3 antenas rompemuros en menos de 100m2 , usted pago el menor valor de un hotel tipo 4 estrellas en todo bogota, si lastimosamente el agua se demora 30 segundos en salir caliente mientras recorre la tuberia, y despues ya sale continuamente caliente, lo sentimos si 30 segundos es muho tiempo para usted. tenemos una variedad de 12 desayunos diferentes por solo 12.000 pesos si usted desea puede encontrar uno que sea mas a su gusto

Terrible!!! De entrada trataron de cargar 30 mil mas en cargos mentirá. Almohadas no olían bien, no agua caliente, ruidoso, limpian el cuarto a la 10 y se lleva las toallas.... No lo recomiendo

El personal fue muy amable al recibirnos y al atendernos, también para brindarnos información sobre los lugares de interés y como llegar a ellos fácilmente, así como para prestarnos una tarjeta para poder viajar en el Transmilenio, el único inconveniente fue que al ser poco el personal demoraron en brindarnos el desayuno.
