I booked this property based on location and reviews. La Posada Pintada is a wonderful place to stay! It's very clean, well-appointed and quiet. The owner was helpful and made a great breakfast fresh every day. I'll be staying there again as soon as I get a chance to return to Bluff, Utah.

This is a great place to stay. The owner/manager is very pleasant. I love staying here and strongly recommend it. I’ve stayed here frequently. Breakfast is delicious.

Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Breakfast was specially prepared. Rooms did not have blackout curtains so it was bright at times. Would have liked to have a mirror in the room besides the bathroom one. Very limited dining options in Bluff.

Older unique property. My room was very large with a patio and comfortable bed. They have a complimentary breakfast but I had to leave prior so was unable to enjoy it or comment on it. Property has beautiful views, quiet and peaceful. I would suggest they replace the old towels with new ones as the ones in my room were really dated. I had trouble turning the shower on and off - they should look into fixing that because I almost had to run downstairs to get assistance.

We very much enjoyed our three nights here. It is slightly on the funky side but the rooms are large with balconies with great views. Breakfast is outstanding. It was very quiet at night. Would recommend it and stay again. There is no maid service but extra towels etc are available on request.

We loved the quiet and off the highway location. Our room was tastefully decorated and supplied. Our only suggestion for the in room coffee; would be to have coffee filters for the coffee maker, sugar, creamer and spoons or stirring sticks. We loved the back patio with table and chairs and the view. The breakfast was the very best of anywhere, which we've ever stayed and breakfast was provided. Thanks for your great hospitality!

Great little hidden hotel in the Bluff which we stayed one night. Room was quiet and bed ok was the most important thing, but some maintenance issues stopping giving higher rating. The breakfast was good and really enjoyed the atmosphere with all the history about. Made a change from modern hotel chain hotels. Def visit the history museum.

Have stayed here on more than one occasion. Always love the breakfast. Homemade and so delicious. One negative would be the Air Conditioning. No clear instructions on how to use it and it was too late in the evening to get assistance. We were too warm, which made for a not-so-fun evening. Would stay here again.

Beautiful inn in Bluff with nicely appointed colorful rooms and views of sandstone cliffs, off the highway so quiet. Delicious breakfast cooked for you. Lots of travel resources in the lobby for local exploring of this amazing region. Unexpected gem!

This property was located in a desolate area where my husband wouldn't stay because of the remote area. There We decided not to stay there because of the above reasons and were charged for the night. Very disappointed with this encounter

A fun little out-of-the-way respite
As we travel between our California home and our Colorado home, we try to stay at fun little places. So far that's usually been Kayenta, Tuba City, Moab, etc. This time we found La Posada Pintada and decided to give it a try based on reviews and comments. Glad we did. It's a fun little place, off the beaten path, very quiet with great scenery. Don't expect all the comforts and ambiance of a chain hotel here - the floors are concrete, the walls are a foot thick adobe, there's no elevator to the 2nd floor - things like that. However, it's clean, there's a coffee machine, the shower is great and the bed is comfy - what more can you ask for? Oh yeah, and there's a free breakfast and the cook will come out and chat with you, or the owner. Nice touches. Appears to be an eclectic group of travelers here from our breakfast conversation - retired travelers, hikers for the local bluffs, artists and photographers, writers and more. If our travels again bring us this way, La Posada Pintada will definitely give us another nights rest.

The owner run property was an extension of the monument valley vibe. Room was large ,comfortable, rustic and quiet. Breakfast freshly made and served by the owner Jennifer. We just needed one night here for a road trip around the 4 corners and was very pleased, slept well, ate well! We would come back!

Second time staying here. So different from big chain hotels. This is a boutique hotel, everything is cured in the small details. Rooms are very unique. Bathroom clean and very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace is phenomenal. Overall a fantastic place. We will be back! And if you are in the area, make sure you stop at the Bluff Fort!

I stayed here overnight after working in the field all day and was given the cabin (located a short distance from the main property). This was a great delight! I enjoyed the comfort and nostalgia of the cabin greatly. The highlight was the magnificent starry sky! Being located in a quiet and small area, I saw more stars here than anywhere else I've traveled. I'd like to return to this cabin and stay longer than one night!

Loved the property. very quiet. The plants and roses were somewhat neglected. Big rooms. Not sure about security as the combination on the door was same as room number...The food could have been a little more generous, especially the fruit. Breakfast was more like a ladies tea, not enough for a gentleman.

No power, no problem!
This is such a charming place to stay. The staff were wonderful. The power went out in Bluff during our stay due to a storm that moved through late in the evening and they still managed to put an amazing breakfast on the table at 7 am the next morning. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and the view of the land formations in the background. The rooms were nice and good sized, with handmade soaps and showers with multiple spray heads. There were not many options for dining in Bluff on a Tuesday night, but the staff was able to give us the available options.
